OOC: Still getting into the swing of things - sorry its so bad!
He had followed the stream to this place. Days had passed since entering here and when he had first ventured here the stream had been a river. Occasionally birds flew low enough for the brute to wrap sharp canines around and he would make a meal of them. He was not underfed and neither was he fat; his muscles were tuned and warmed from the travel and his pelt was slicked to his skin from the water he had just climbed from. He had wanted his scent to be carried away. No one following him would be able to locate him now, he was sure.

The dark wolf travelled on until he found a tree which held its roots proudly above the earth. A perfect place to dig a den. For today, it would do. He had no idea where he was or how long he would stay for. He doubted he would remain undisturbed. The faint scent of others lingered in the air, wafted past every now and then and gave the pale-eyed wolf pause. He would still utterly, muscles tensing to ready themselves to run. His nose would twitch and gold ears would flick nervously around. And then the moment would pass and he would return, unfazed, to his digging. Kerhasi was merely a traveller, a passer-by. Snow covered paws dug at the cold earth. He would not be met with hostility here, surely. Heavy clouds hung over the woods, threatening rain and horrendous storms. He could easily evade any packs if he was vigilant. His job done, a small one-wolf den was burrowed under the large willow, hidden almost totally from view by the tree?s long, wispy vines.

Kerhasi grinned at his handiwork, leaving his semi-permanent home for the stream. After cleaning his snow-tipped paws in the chilly water the brute lay just beside the water, salmon pink tongue lolling out of the side of his narrow maw.
