It had only been a day since she arrived in the new place. It was so big and diverse Alessa knew it would take her a good while before she would be able to fully explore its entirety. She wasn't in a hurry though; she had all the time in the world. As odd as it was for her, for some reason she could see herself spending a good while here. She never lingered in an area for more than a few hours and yet she had already been in this strange new place for a day. What was keeping her here? Certainly it wasn't the boy she'd and helped yesterday. He'd simply been a passerby to her, someone she'd stopped to help, nothing more. Was she looking for a pack perhaps? She didn't know what pack life was like. She'd never been in one. Her pack had always been just herself and she'd never wanted it any other way. Could things be different now?

After having helped the boy as much as she'd could, the creamy peach wolf had wandered off, as was her usual routine. There were so many new many new smells and so many different places that she didn't know where to start. Her dual-colored gaze came across a patch of giant tree, its branches seeming to reach up into the sky only to fall short, its long branches hanging down like spider legs, the tips brushing against the earth. It was an extremely interesting tree, one she had never seen before. Alessa was rather cautious as she approached the timber, nosing her way through the enlongated tree limbs, goosebumps rippling across her skin at their touch. She stopped for a moment, mismatched eyes lifting to gaze at the trunk of the tree. Its millions of branches were knarled and twisted at the base, resembling weaving snakes. She decided she liked this tree. Perhaps she would visit this spot more often.

And then a peculiar scent hit her nostrils, catching her attention. Alessa pulled her gaze away from the tree, letting it roam the area around her. There was a small stream and lying on opposite was another boy, this one different from the one she saw yesterday. He had golden ears and startling amethyst eyes. He lied quietly beside the stream, his tongue lolling from the side of his mouth. Unsure of what to do, the light pelted girl slowly walked to the edge of the dangling limbs, orange and icy gems focused on the boy across the water, plume flicking gently between her haunches as she watched him. He wasn't in need of help so she wasn't sure if she would approach him.
