Sorrel Destruction-Gringoire

It wouldn't take too long for his large cousin to appear, honestly even Sorrel wouldn't have been surprised to find him stood lurking, far away enough that he wouldn't interfere but temptingly close enough that he could, as he had done, be here for Frith very swiftly. Connections to family he could understand believe it or not, though the idea of Aslan acting in such a manner made no sense; it didn't help Frith out at all.

It seemed that there was no need to point out to the Author that the meat was for him, eagerly he began to tuck in whilst reassuring his son that he'd be fine. Sorrel simply gave a small nod of confirmation for the tall boy who, perhaps cleverly wouldn't only take the patient's words. "Try not to move too much." Sorrel told him. "Once you get back to your den just rest." He'd probably check on him later, with more watercress and perhaps something for the pain just in case but for now there was little more for the healer to do. "When you help him, walk him carefully. Slow, small steps." Just a final word of caution for Aslan.

With that the healer would leave the pair to get on with things, setting off perhaps to grab a piece of the kill for himself though only if it was clear; he didn't quite fancy an onslaught of questions in regards to the Author's health.
