Ebony had always been a place that had felt like home to Andromeda, perhaps even more so than some of the other places she had lived and yet, it was only recently that she had really been able to officially call it that. Perhaps that little detail was the main reason she found herself leaving the pack land's these days, there was no other place in the world that called out to her so why would she leave home? She had family lingering on the other side of Alacritia, her younger siblings there had passed through her mind a few times but whilst she shouldn't really have played favourites, it was her siblings here in Ebony that mattered the most to her, they took the priority in her life.
Every now and then the whim to venture beyond the borders of the lands would strike her. There was no real reason, she didn't crave the company of the loners lurking around nor did she truly have the desire to explore, content to finally have a real home. Perhaps it was simply to stretch her legs a little further than normal, or just curiosity to see what souls lingered close to the Ebony lands. If they were a threat they should steer clear, if they were harmless then they could continue on their way.
There was someone around now, her scent lingering though it was her voice that caught Andromeda's attention the most. Of course the golden hued girl was only able to hear one side of the conversation and she had only caught what was actually being said in those final words, the order to shut up. Nose carefully examined the area closer, just in case perhaps the wolf had a companion with them though no scent was as fresh as the wolves and it still didn't explain the fact that she had only heard the one voice.
It may have been best to steer clear of the girl, leave her to her antics and only face her if she happened to leave these lands to advance upon Ebony's. For now she could easily be harmless, and yet still rather perplexed by this command to shut up Andromeda simply couldn't help herself. She was cautious in her step, treading lightly as she advanced and certainly not moving too close to the stranger. For now she remained silent as well, her intention was mainly to observe, perhaps if she stayed far enough behind the other wouldn't actually notice her. |
