Meeting family

The walk to Threar wasn't a long one, and she knew Shaye would have her answers soon. In the mean time she allowed Chord to dangle tidbits in front of her daughter and held back her laughter at Shaye's impatience and excitement. It was so nice to see Shaye acting like the child she still was, instead of delving into the adult realm in her attempts to see and hold a relationship with her Aunt and Mentor Rhythm.

“Yeah Chord, are we there yet?” Motif teased her brother as Shaye questioned the distance between themselves and their destination.
