He wasn't quite so obviously relieved at her words but she was keenly more aware of his breathing. Really the knowledge he'd given her might one day save his life. She hoped she would never have to see him like he described, prayed that he would realize his limits better than he had a few weeks ago. However, she couldn't even begin to see the future and would have to prepare. The damage had been done, there was no repairing the damage the volcanic ash brought.

He seemed to relax though, and that was enough for her. She couldn't treat him like some bomb with an unknown timer, what was going to happen would happen, and now she would't be struggling to figure out what was going on. She would find him searching for her gaze as he assured her he was perfectly capable to protecting Imperium. "I know, Kyarst. I saw you navigate through the Orchard with your eyes closed. I could never doubt your capability." Her voice was serious, but she said her words with a confident smile. Rhythm believed in him.
