The man when he eventually appeared was not one that Talvi recognised, he bore the scent of a pack and seemed rather eager to get going. Whilst his timing could have been better, the latter she would be grateful for, not exactly feeling the idea of small talk or trying to pal up with anyone. Perhaps someone would prove to be interesting to talk to later, but for now she simply wished to get this spar completed. He was head on and only about four feet away from her, perhaps he sought to intimidate her in some manner though if that was the case it wasn't working.
Talvi wouldn't give the brown toned man a verbal answer, instead choosing to answer with actions instead. With practiced ease she adjusted her stance, widening it out and evenly spreading her balance across all four paws, toes spreading out and gripping at the earth below them. Her knees bent slightly, lowering her stance and centre of gravity. Tail flicked smoothly into position behind her, aligning her spine, shoulders rolling forwards and her hackles raising. Her chin was dipped, protecting her throat and ears pinned back close to her skull. Her eyes were narrowed to protect them, lips curling into a snarl and scrunching the skin around her face.
If setting her defences hadn't been a big enough sign that she was ready to fight, Talvi chose to try and close the distance between them and begin her attacks. Lowering herself even closer to the ground now, she would step and spring forwards and upwards, angling the left side of her body slightly closer to Kreft in order to try and strike his throat with the bony front of her left shoulder. She hoped to close the windpipe for a moment, interrupt his breathing and perhaps give him a coughing fit as he tried to regain that breath.
Settling herself back to the ground, Talvi adjusted her stance and balance to distribute her weight evenly across her paws once more. Her jaws aimed for the fleshy section of skin above Kreft's left shoulder just as it joins towards the neck. The pressure behind the bite was light, this was supposed to be a friendly fight after all and she'd keep the damage to a minimum for now, aiming to only leave small puncture wounds behind.
