It had indeed been quite some time since he last saw her, and the aging gentleman could not hide his surprise, and thrill, to see Arian again.

“Arian!” The man’s tail set to wagging, and he would close the rest of the distance between them, looking her up and down. “Gods above it’s been forever since I’ve last seen you! How have you been?” The man would ask softly. He thought he heard her mention a new pack name too. Had she changed it since last time?
