She still seemed so submissive still, although slowly her courage was starting to grow. She gave her reason for being close, and he nodded his head in understanding. "I don't blame you. I would be a very bad father if I kept you away from them. They miss you, a lot," he said as he leaned forward, touching his nose to her forehead. "we all have." He admitted, his voice soft. She looked away for a moment, and he wished that she would have more confidence in herself. It killed him that he was probably at fault for most of that. But once more she looked up, and he offered her a small smile. "As am I, for all of this nonsense." Bass whispered. He stepped forward, slowly at first, and then he thrust his chest against her own and wrapped her in a tight embrace. His neck wrapped tightly around her own as he hummed softly. "I love you, Rhy. I always have."
