You don't own me

And so he would return. The young boy coming back, though not entirely sure why. Maybe he hoped to find that girl, Safir. Maybe he hoped to convince to run away from whatever the 'Lion' thing was. She seemed so afraid...as if that thing would come out of the very walls. His short journey around the Southern parts of Alacritis where he had been staying for the winter had made him a bit weary. He had been going back and forth between few places he had already visited. Though there was still much to explore. He couldn't exactly remember the last time he had a good meal, most of his foraging had been from digging up roots and managing to catch a mouse or a skinny rabbit here and there. Although to a larger wolf they wouldn't be filling, it did him fine due to his small physique.
Honeyed eyes fell upon the entrance of the cave, the boy standing among the bushes as he watched for signs of what could potentially be a 'lion' but saw none. Moving forward, Shiki smelled the air to see if he could catch the scent of Safir...but it was something else he scented instead. Rather, someone else. Freezing in his tracks, he glanced warily around until he spotted it. A wolf larger then him by a foot, seemed to nearly blend in with the darkness of the caves mouth. Shiki stared for a moment, wondering who this creature was and if he should turn tail and run or approach and ask him if he had seen a wolf that looked like Safir.
He would take the latter option. He approached with caution, His body low to the ground and his tail clinging to his hocks, ears laid back and his expression wary. He eyed the other male, who seemed to have a sad look on his face. It puzzled him, was this male sad about something? He paused a few feet from the darker male, a hesitant question bubbling from his lips. "Um..excuse me..H-have you seen another wolf around here? Or..anything?"
