The north was a beautiful place. It was a place that he had settled in as his home, as a place where he felt secure. Being part of Arian’s pack had provided him with a sense of security and a sense of self. He was no longer simply a rogue. He was a wolf who held a purpose. Who held a higher calling for himself. He was the one who was in part of the pack’s feeding force. A hunter. He took pride in in who he was.
The young man was wandering, until a scent on the breeze met his nose. A stranger! She smelled of sand, of salt. Did she live near the ocean? Curiosity drew him to seek the stranger out, and he would see her just as she was speaking to herself. The young man would grin widely, calling out to her.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”
