He felt her pushing against him, and that force combined with his own momentum would easily thrust him upward and onto the boulder. He dug in with his front paws to ensure that he wouldn't go tumbling off the other side and hurt himself worse. When he'd stopped his momentum he pushed a little more with his front paws, sending himself backward into a sitting position. Finally he'd relax his front paws and rest into a lying position, shifting to his side to keep the pressure off of his injured parts. "I'm up," he commented unnecessarily and very nearly triumphantly. "Thank you," he murmured, quieter than his previous declaration, but loud enough for her to hear. He craned his head toward her, a quizzical look upon his face. "What now?" He knew he could gaze over Imperium for a few days straight, but perhaps she had some other idea. |
