A son of a stepfather

It was a couple of hours after Arian and Kreft's spar. She was shuffling through her herbs in her den, dwindling in supply. She was only lucky that it was a mild wound, it wasn't entirely little but it did need treatment should it heal properly. Arian would sit in one of the animal furs probably still warm from cypress laying there but she threw the thought out of her head looking through her supplies. She'd need to get some water with one of the strange round objects she found in the ship to wash the wound.

"How are you feeling Kreft?" the woman asked, placing the bowl to the side. As she pulled a few small poppy seeds out and placing them in front of him. "If it hurts too much take some of these should numb the pain a little, but if you eat too much of them they'll make you fall asleep so be careful." Arian instructed to the injured man. She herself felt like taking some but it would have to wait until she was done treating Kreft.
