Hyde & Seek

The girl sighed, her eyes wide as she watched the snow howl outside the caves. Her tail wagged dully against the ground, whining escaping her throat. She wanted to go outside today, to see what else she could find, but it seemed nature would tell her "No! You have to stay inside today. No playtime for you silly girl!" It wasn't fair! She rolled over onto her back in boredom, stretching her paws over her head as she toyed at the single little leaf she had found the day before. Blowing at it, she watched it drift away from her until the wind outside blew it back. She covered her eyes with her paws, this was no fun!

Groaning, she flopped over onto her left side, an exaggerated sigh seeping out with force as she watched the ongoing storm. When would it be over? When could she go play? Would it go on for days? She shot up to a sitting position, no that couldn't happen! Standing, she paced back and forth for a while, pawing at a rock here, a bug there. But it wasn't fun enough. So she sat back where she was before. "Y'know, it's not very nice to keep me from playing outside!" She called out to the storm...but it would go unheard.
