His ears perked slightly as she returned the question he had asked. A slow nod was given, and then she dove into a short explanation. His eyes grew wide, his ears flattening to his head, tail beginning to tuck beneath him. "Th-that's horrible!" Was all he managed to say, however, his voice became more of a whisper then an exclamation.
He was puzzled when she asked him about his parents. Why did this woman care? He stared at her, unable to put two and two together with appearance, nor scent. He wasn't the brightest, but his belief that Kau and Pamela were his parents were strong in this one. "Um...K-Kau Kedieo is my Father...But, I don't know where he is right now..." He glanced around, as if his Father would step out of the bushes and greet him, as if to say "Here I am!" But...it was merely hope, that spurred the boy. "And my Mother is Pamela...wh-why do you ask?"
