It was cold here! The snow had only gotten heavier as she had wandered further and further north and as the Francophone explored deeper she had really only managed to dig herself deeper and deeper into the snow. Of course this wouldn’t have been too big a deal if she were a bigger wolf but the tiny girl was literally battling against the white powder with each step. So it was that Estelle found herself trying to scamper up a slick slope to try and escape the snow. That also proved to be a bigger issue than anticipated, it would have been difficult for a four legged wolf and with Estelle’s missing hind leg it was near impossible. With a slight squeak she lost her balance and slid back down the slope on her stomach. The girl’s landing was blessedly soft at least, cushioned by the drift of snow that nearly swallowed her up. |
Estelle only has a rudimentary understanding of the common language, her mother tongue is French
