He was definitely getting closer and not farther away. The scent that reached her was unquestionably masculine and while the sound of his approach helped paint a picture of who he was to some extent, much about him remained a mystery. He was big and heavy. Either that or he stomped around like a bull. In silence she listened to his approach as he grew increasingly close. His voice a deep rumble, he ventured, "Hello there." Sabine took her sweet time in replying as she mentally sized him up. He was close enough for her to hear him breathing, so if she were to guess he was maybe -give or take a bit- five feet away.
