Let's Go My Dear Watson!

Bored. Again. Day in and day out. The winter drove her to staying in the cave lately due to the driving blizzards and the icky slush that made her fur wet. She lied on her stomach, head on her paws as she stared wide eyed at the weather outside, as if pleading for it to stop so she could go do some more exploration. As if answering her thoughts, the wind outside died down to a slow crawl, the snow falling lightly now. Almost immediately she jumped up and charged outside, tail wagging a million miles a minute as she threw herself into the soft snow outside. Laughing and rolling around, she jumped up and leaped into the air, only to crash down into a bank of snow, and there she would begin to dig a little snow den.
Ashe dug and dug, snow flying behind her as if she were a mini snow plow. She had started creating her own mini flurry, and soon enough she had created a tunnel that opened up into a den beneath firm snow. Excited and with her tongue lolling out, she moved the snow outside about to make the entrance to her new snow den concealed so it wouldn't be easily found. And then, with excitement, she slid into it on her belly like a seal, turning around to stare out of it. She made not a sound, hoping that someone or something would come by and maybe she could surprise it like she was a trapdoor spider...but more friendly.
