This turned into more or less, an unintentional game of hide and seek...so it might take a bit to find him XD

The lanky creature left the southern lands, once again searching for his siblings. It seemed he'd even lose Eshe's trace once again, and it saddened him. Maybe they had moved to the other side of the coast, perhaps the snow intrigued them as much as it did him, and went to investigate. That notion would bring him moving all the way to the other side of Alacritis, where there was nothing but snow. It fascinated him, and not only that but he rather seemed to enjoy it. His pelt blended in with the snow, if he were to lie down the only thing that would show would be his bright curiously green eyes. Even his ashen ears would blend nicely with the cloudy shadows of the day.

Not too far in the distance, Aqil would spot a structure jutting out of the snow at an angle. Tilting his head slightly, he stared at it for a long moment before registering what it was. He had known the thing to be a ship, something that he learned from the old Zimbabwe tribes back home. The elders there were very informative in the history of their ancestors, and for that he was grateful. With a smile tugging at his lips, he ventured towards it.

He wasn't far now, the structure loomed before him, it's shadow cast over the ground to his left and the wind would seem to bring to him, a very strong scent. He paused, head and ears erect as he gazed about. It would seem that he had encountered a pack, though which pack it would be he was not sure. This not only delighted him, but it was very convenient since he had been looking for a good pack to perhaps gain some friends and learn more of the dominant creatures in these lands. Perhaps he could even offer his assistance should the need arise, like teaching!

Growing excited, the male moved forth at a brisk pace. The border drew closer, the beasts slender legs moving gracefully over the snow. He was sure if anything was watching, they wouldn't be able to spot him unfortunately. With a flicking tail, he was about to chirp and announce his presence, but as soon as he opened his mouth, floop. He had walked upon a rather soft mound of snow, the male had sunk into it entirely. It was as if the earth decided to swallow him up right there. The only thing that could be seen of him, was his tail tip twitching like a leaf in the wind. "Oh my..." His voice muffled by snow.

Speech,
