It seemed he startled her. The thought amused him and brought the faintest of smirks to his lips. She seemed flustered; stuttering out a response and then contradicting it. New to these lands or Alacritia as a whole? The giant himself was new to these parts, but he'd spent his whole life in the northern continent and new it well. Amusement lacing his voice, he asked, "You don't know if you're lost?"
The unknown woman recovered and fearlessly stepped closer. Laufey's amusement grew. Few approached him with such ease.
