With the expansion of Donostrea's pack lands, Gale felt like she had hit a jackpot. Not only had their diet been opened up from crustaceans and fish that Locha more than anyone had been catching on the beach, but the territory they had acquired was a wide, expansive plain that offered another perfect place to stretch her legs and run. She had tried to do her duty as Aertus first by wandering it and exploring, trying to get a feel for the land and learning where the new borders resided, but now, when it was familiar to her, she was ready to start pushing herself.
She stood at one end of the territory, pacing alongside the border and staring outward and beyond what was known as Donostrea. Things were quiet, peaceful even, but her legs itched. The small, lithe, grey and lavender wolf stopped and stretched out each of her legs individually, wriggled just a little on her paws as she readied herself. The place appeared to be empty, so she doubted having trouble getting far on a fast-paced sprint. Gale drew in a deep, slow breath, releasing it and feeling herself calm in the process. With one more inhale, she took off, darting off across the Prairie intent on going as fast as she could for as far as she could.
