The lioness closed her eyes, taking long deep breaths as she both soaked up the sun's warm rays and felt her body relax with the cool water. Being considerate to a point, the woman tried to move around as little as possible that way if somebody passed by they could get a nice drink without it being filled with stirred sand. But it would seem someone's excitement had got the best of them, the sound of water splashing nearby causing the female to jolt up and whip around to see what had caused it.
To her surprise, it was Hyder, the albino male she had encountered last season. Mlezi shook her head with a smirk, a brow raised as she watched him in silence, the muscle beneath her pelt visible with her soaked fur. “Siku njema, Hyder.” (good day) She purred in return, padding forward with a smile across her lips, coming to a stop in front of the male. With a tilt of her head she would look him over breifly then return to meeting his gaze, tail waising form the water. “Ukiangalia nzuri kwani sisi iliyopita alizungumza.” (you look good since we last spoke.) Had he forgotten what he had told her or was he really trying to secure land to begin this pride? |
