The perpetually worried Shawnee girl had finally abandoned her homeland. Once the landbridge had opened up, everyone had disappeared. She couldn't remain there all by herself and keep everything together, simple as that. So, the dove had picked up and headed across the bridge to the fabled northern landmass. She would miss her manatees, but it was inevitable. She would no doubt return often to make sure all was well with the herd of undersea cows, who had yet to let her mingle amongst them. Pale brows were drawn together as she stumbled through the foreign territory, audits flattened against her dainty skull. To make matters worse, she'd gone into her third heat of her young life. She was beginning to worry that she would be mobbed by unsavoury, warmongering wolves that she had been taught to fear.

As she continued onward, the landscape began to be bleached of colour. Was this northern witchcraft? Sorcery of some kind, designed to lure her in. Curiosity killed the cat. She did not want to die here, in this alien place. Picking her way across the landscape, she tried not to let her knees wobble too much. Why had she left home? It was so much safer there, she didn't have to worry about being attacked or eaten. The tiny lass slunk across the alabaster landscape, a mote of ash swept through the monotonous white. She didn't like it here, not one bit.
