Licking Wounds

Though the pain was undeniable, it was far from the worst she had experienced. Getting some actual medical attention would certainly help the healing process. And though she knew that she could superficially trust Rhythm, it was difficult to relax at the near-stranger's touch. Lysis had only known true trust with her family. Still, she figured it was highly unlikely that Rhythm would do anything to jeopardize her position in the pack - which was mainly why she trusted her with this care.

Her head would angle up slightly as Rhythm anwered her question. She was happy to reply to the question she received back, nodding. "He's my half-brother," she would tell her, unsure how much she knew about either of them, if anything. "We heard Roman and Drashiel's children were here, so we decided to stay." She made no mention of the fact that they had essentially told them they wanted nothing to do with them.. that was a subject for another time, if ever.
