She explained to him the usage of the Mint he had discovered within her den. He looked back at it, then back to her. It wasn't unusual for one to use such remedies on themselves, especially if it helped them a great deal. Back home, he had used lavender to help calm him when he had anxiety when his family had left. He would not comment on it further. And when she told him that her mate might not be in tonight, he felt a little down. "Ah, well...that is a shame. I would have liked to meet him. Ni bahati mbaya. Perhaps next time, then."

Ashen ears perked up as she offered him the cayenne pepper. It wasn't something he saw everyday, particularly not this pepper anyway. He sniffed at it as she placed it before him, and it smelled spicy! A sneeze erupted from him again, surprising him more then it could have surprised her. Maybe he was coming down with a cold? He wasn't used to the snow after all, but he'd disregard that thought. Maybe a little nibble wouldn't hurt, and he could use the warming up. Reaching forward, he tentatively took a small bite. At first, he couldn't taste the spice. But gradually it began to appear on his tongue, like it was sneaking up on him. He swallowed the small bit of pepper he had taken, his mouth watering like crazy as his nostrils began to flare. She wasn't lying when she said it was hot!

His face screwed up slightly, the feline trying to keep his features calm as the pepper did it's work. "Oh, that is quite spicy! My tongue feels like it's on fire! But it is working quite effectively, thank you." He didn't want to seem like he was complaining, so he'd take it like a man and slowly breath in and out as he panted slightly. Moments later, his tongue would finally stop burning and he'd shake out his pelt as if that too, would get rid of the spicy heat. With that aside, Aqil remained sitting as he wondered about Arian and her pack. He had never been within the borders of a canine pack before. "Can I ask you something?"

"Speak"
