When the cat asked the question, it had brought her to a quick point. Her ears flickering in the midst of her thoughts. Why had she become an alphess? Was she power hungry, afraid of the world around her. She wondered these things, and when it came to answer him perhaps she didn't quiet have one for him. "Not all of them look up to me. Sometimes I feel as if I have to prove myself to them a thousand times over. They all look at me the same.... crippled leg doesn't entirely fit a leader." she muttered for a moment and smiled at him.

"I've messed up very bad in my life, I owned a pack once before and gave it up. I'll be damned if I let this one go until I'm dead. None of the other packs entirely respect me because they don't think I've changed. Someone who simply, picks something up and once I think I can't handle it hands it off to someone else. I did originally do it because I thought it would help me with my depression. I'm doing something wrong at the moment, but I'm working on fixing it." Arian would finally answer. As her tail flicked a little she tried to give a small sigh. She was talking with a cat as if he was not a stranger. It was a scary thought about that. Some days she just wanted to hide her head into the snow and scream.
