SERAPHIM IMPERIALIS
When Angel imitated their father, Phim could not hold in a fit of snickers. It wasn't even that Angel sounded silly, but hearing his brother sound like an adult was silly enough to set his cheeks and gut aching from strain. Beneath it all though, Phim wondered if there wasn't a little melancholy wrapped up in it all. Angel was looking more and more like Valentine every time his brother crossed his path, and before long they'd have real tasks to take care of and battles to fight and all of it! Seraphim wasn't sure he was ready to give up this easy youth, even if Angel seemed to be growing in leaps and bounds. "I bet you could fool the others with that! You should see if you can make Vana think she's in trouble!" Phim's laughter returned in a second gale at the thought of his sisters panicked, and then furious, face.

Angelus asked him what all he'd been up to, and Seraphim's memories rushed forth in one great blow. He couldn't pick just one story, he couldn't decide what secret place to tell his brother about first. All he could do was dance in place and beam, saying, "I've been everywhere! I bet I know Dad's lands better than anyone by now. I know where the bee hives are and I found a sink hole once, and these cascades by the stream that's has a secret cave in the bank. Oh, and one time I found this old injured bison stuck in a mud wallow and I teased him, but then he started chasing me-" Seraphim realized he was rambling and snapped his jaws shut with an audible click. He forced his breath out in a big woosh, letting his shoulders slump, trying to force himself not to be a complete and total spaz. "Well, you get the picture! I can show you sometime, if you want!" The thought of roaming Daddy's lands with his brother, and Vana too of course, made his paws itch. He wanted to go now so why were they still just standing there?!
