Was it him? He wasn't gone for that long... just out on a hunt for a different dinner... Was he abandoned? It hadn't seemed like the first time. Maybe he was too harsh on his brother. Maybe Colten left him... But that didn't matter! Nope, not to him! At least not that he would let anyone know. He had returned to the weeping woods hoping that his brother would be here, one day, one morning, it didn't matter. But he kept on making his way through each day acting like nothing was wrong. That nothing had changed. That everything had always been this way. The boy had just turned two last season, not that it was important to anybody... He had been awake for a while now, it was maybe noon or later. He finally got his lazy butt up and made his way in between the trees. He was well fed and kept himself in good shape, unlike his brother did after mom died. After taking a short walk without exiting his so-called home, he took a seat close to one of the shorter trees around. Life would turn around. Soon. Hopefully. Colten would come waltzing up with Ekko and their son... he just knew it... |
