She followed the curve of the lake lazily. For reasons she couldn't quite place Sabine was drawn to the shores of Firefly Lake. She'd reunited with her siblings recently and while being with them was wonderful, it felt good to strike out on her own. The giantess craved independence; what once had been an isolating feeling had hardened into a need to outwit and outperform anyone who was put in her path, family included. Every once in a while though she just needed to relax, to let go of the fierce grip she had on her shield and simply chill. Seeking perfection was an exhausting endeavor.
Sabine's head lifted as a gentle breeze brought the scent of another to her. The giantess paused to scent the breeze, nostrils twitching and breath leaving her in soft huffs as she tried to gauge exactly what kind of creature was in the area. Her tail flicked in thought. She wasn't entirely sure how she felt about company, if that was indeed what she was in for. It was entirely possible that whoever was wandering around the lake would pass her by without thought. In any case, they were getting closer by the second and she'd get an answer soon enough...
