Bite Me Baby

First attack successful, Ixora was able to puncture the skin and hopefully make the surrounding area sore during recovery. But with it Lyria was able to get out of the bite, wrenching free and avoiding the shove Ixora had try to do, jaws clicked shut briefly from this, but quickly parted once more for her next move. When Lyria came back in however, she didn't attempt to avoid or counter attack the paw stomp Ixora had done. Right forepaw slamming down onto Lyria's left forepaw, enough force to cause a sharp pain and a small bit of bruising perhaps, but not enough to fracture of break.

Paw pulled back and Ixora reset herself quickly, limbs spaced evenly and joints bent. She rolled her shoulders forward and pulled her head back, tail lifting once more and eyes narrowing when Lyria came in from her[ixora] left side. Right hind-leg slid out a few inches to Ixora's right, bringing her rear end swinging so that she was angled obtusely. (position link) Quickly Ixora would duck her head, forelegs bending to bring her front half below Lyria's head. The other woman's attack would land but not in its desired spot, instead fangs sank into Ixora's upper shoulder blade. She winced between clenched jaws, the teeth puncturing skin enough to draw blood.

With her new position pretty much being below Lyria, (position link) Ixora threw her shoulders forward and tensed up her neck, ignoring the pain and would try to grab hold of the female's left elbow in her jaws. Top jaw coming on the outside and bottom right on the armpit, then would apply adequate pressure to both puncture skin and cause discomfort if it made contact. Ixora would also seek to jerk backwards with the bite, squeezing tightly and rotating her read to the left. Legs remained spaced evenly, paws moving one at a time with the head jerks.
