Although the Summer heat wasn't overbearing and had yet to even fully warm up Novella still found herself feeling rather uncomfortable. Of course the warmer weather had very little to do with that fact, instead her rather large baby bump. If there had been any doubts about her pregnancy before they could be banished, she was definitely showing now. Certainly larger than her last litter, Novella suspected that there were more pups or at least larger ones than Fate and Luck.
For a while the Author had attempted to do her duties within the pack though she had reached the stage now that it was more than awkward and perhaps a little dangerous for her to be patrolling. Any day now, surely it had to be any day now that these children would arrive? This particular pregnancy felt like it was dragging on, though perhaps that was simply down to the fact that the last two litters had both been born in the Spring, or perhaps the blame could be put on the fact that she was anxious for this particular pregnancy to end.
With little else to do at the moment, nor the energy to continue wandering around at the moment Novella found herself settled on the bay that afternoon. Her mismatched gaze faced the water, idly watching the crashing waves though her mind lingered upon other matters.
