Canta came barreling after him as the buck jumped over his head, recovering just as fast his form would shoot off behind, right after Canta's leap. He still felt relatively fresh after having been tracking and chasing the creature for so long, but there was no doubt that Canta was feeling much more competent than himself. As she raced after their quarry it would make a fatal mistake as Canta's jaws wrapped around his leg. He wouldn't have time to think about her danger as he leaped closer. She barely avoided its kicking paws as Mercury came around the side to grab at the creatures neck. She had him slowed enough that Merc could go for such a vital area. He'd gain control of it's head, and slowly pull it down to the earth and he shoved his weight around. Speech, |
