She was trotting along quite happily in the much cooler northern air when the scent of Sonticus' scent markers caught her attention. No doubt both Valentine and Birna had caught the warning scents as well, and she sent them a devilish look. "Some people think all they have to do is pee on a patch of grass and that makes them a pack," she murmured mockingly, keeping her voice low to avoid attracting unwanted attention. "Not much up here is there? What could they be hiding out there do you think?" Rubbing up against Valen teasingly, she moved to toe the border, tail waving at a jaunty angle. "So who wants to go first hmm?"
