Mingan had gotten much bigger throughout the season. Though he thought about his mother all the time, he wondered what his brother's were doing. Though he and Alvin had a very bad quarrel a while back, he still cared about him since he was family. The scent of many prey animals surrounded his nostrils, causing his stomach to growl in anticipation for a morsel to fill it. Dual colored eyes scanned the proximity of the area that he was hunting, but, the only prey he happened to see were a bunch of crows, and, due to experience, crow was the last thing he wished to eat due to eating so many of them.
He approached onward, walking back over to the cave that occupied his lover, a small smile stretching across his maw. There was a lake nearby that was unoccupied, and they could have as much fish as they wanted until their bellies were full.
He nudged her muzzle, a smile still staying there, "If we go for a meal, I would suggest fish. There is not that much prey around here as of yet," he explained.
