Light Up The Sky [Pack Meeting]

Rassie remained quiet through most of the meeting, figuring that she and Lais wouldn’t be properly promoted, at least not yet, and that they’d have work to do before they could be. The mentioning of some of the bad news was concerning… not just in the amount of loss, but how they hadn’t been able to even properly grieve over those losses… and then there was the fact that there were new members too. Her gaze shifted towards Kalliope and her babies, her uncle Cas, with a soft sigh. So one of their little ones weren’t present, hmm? Just like her sister… She flicked her ears back with a small whimper. Whatever happened to Kieryn?
Her mind was swirling with questions as Regulus went over new rank ideas and it wasn’t until he mentioned dividing up into search parties that Rassie shifted, blue gaze turning towards the woman she hadn’t even seen arrive. “I could help you search for them too! If you don’t mind…” The girl frowned thoughtfully, trying to think of what information she knew about Creed and his sons. Not a whole lot, unfortunately… other than their markings.
“Though it’d probably be best to check in with Justice and Fable first, yeah? They’d be the ones to lead the search for those guys I think.”

Marina listened quietly to what Regulus had to say. News that of deaths she knew little about… news of her arrival. News of the arrivals of others. Rank changes. Birthdays… It was a lot to take in. But the female listened to the end, and at the mention of those missing her expression grew concerned. From youths to an adult… goodness what had happened to Celestial? The rainbow marked female rose, speaking up softly. “I’ll comb through the lands and see if I find anyone who wasn’t here at the meeting. If I do I’ll send them your way, Regulus.” She paused, waiting for a sign that was alright before she’d leave.

Ronen listened to all that went on, even if he didn’t understand most of it. What he did understand was the fact that Viho wasn’t with the family… and he could feel the worry from both his mother and father. With a soft sigh the boy rose, moving towards his sister with a small smile on his face. He was trying to wear a reassuring one, but he wasn’t too sure how well that was going in the end. “Y-yeah! Come on Etain… we’ll go think of a great new game to play when Viho gets back!” He glanced back towards his father talking with some of the other females in the pack and gave a small nod. If anyone could find his brother it was him… and with that the boy turned back to his sister and mother, waiting to be escorted back to the den.

Listening as Regulus spoke was a roller coaster of emotion. Sadness for Surreal and Falk, sadness tinged with anger over her mother's condition, smug pride that her alpha had prevailed over the would-be usurper (tinged with disappointment she hadn't gotten to see the fight), pride that had her sitting straight when she was mentioned, excitement over new ranks with new possibilities, and then plummetting back to sadness when her missing siblings were mentioned.
But then it got even worse, because he said Da and Valor were missing too rather than just not showing up. She wanted to leave right then to go look for them, but she had no idea where to go. Where to start. Would they have gone to visit family somewhere? But would they have left to do that without informing Regulus? She sprang to her feet in a rush of hot determination, her sturdy jaw set in stubborn lines. "I'll find them," she promised Regulus, then nudged Fable's shoulder sharply with her own. "Fable too." She didn't care that she was forcibly volunteering him - in her mind he was her brother, and their brother and son, so he was going to have to join the search whether he liked it or not, and she couldn't fathom a reason he wouldn't.
But she didn't know where to start, except in vague memories of there being Ancoras elsewhere. Hadn't there been an Ancora pack in the north? She'd have to start her search there.
