It was time to raid and Ásvor was fully prepared. Part of her was glad that Valdis was able to stay behind and make sure their home - and Ulfr, subsequently - were safe, but another part of her felt strange that her wife wouldn't be here fighting beside her. Either way she was determined to put up a damn good fight, her age be damned. There was no sign that she felt half as old as she was as she strode up with the rest of Fireside, viking-helmet-clad head raised high. Jörmungandr was coiled near her neck, around the side section of her helmet. They waited but for a moment before the fights began to break out, though Ásvor was slightly more deliberate, standing her ground and scoping out an opponent.

Her deliberation didn't last for long before she zeroed in on Venom. She was young and pretty, standing with an air of importance that was undeniable - and made Ásvor want to kick her down a notch. Or two, preferably. Spending a split second getting a better look at her, Ásvor hoped to take her by surprise and she charged her - angling herself toward her from the side as she used her slighter size to her advantage and tried to grab hold of the side of her throat, hoping to gain control over her before Venom had a chance to overpower her. Catching her off guard would no doubt be the best bet. A barely-audible hiss was heard from Jörmungandr as she uncoiled herself and reared back, preparing to strike sharp and fast. The risk to her companion was great so her impact would be minimal before she fled, but hopefully enough of a distraction to disrupt their opponent.

The howl that reached his ears caught him off guard, but he still acted quickly and was off like a bolt to meet the intruders where they were with a slight smirk on his lips. All he had been asking for during his training  It did take him a moment since he had been out by the shore when the call went out, but at least he already had his armor on and flail on hand so he didn't have to go back to his den before he went to the scene of the fight. Quite a few of his pack mates had arrived ahead of him and the fight had kicked off immediately so he lingered around the edges for a moment. Prowling around the crowd, his emerald eyes scanned the other fighters and it seemed that the one of the attacking pack's fighters that remained unmatched was a slate blue male who matched him in height, but was a slightly heavier build and at least at first glance seemed to be a fair bit older than himself. It seemed like a good balance of an even match and a challenge since he was certain that this male would have more experience than himself. With his sights set on his opponent, he charged forward with long, loping strides. Once he was close enough, he used the momentum of a leap toward the unnamed Fireside wolf to give a swing of the boar skull flail he held clasped in his jaws. The tusks from the boar's skull were facing away from his opponent, but he still attempted to connect the weapon with the older male's left shoulder all the same while bracing himself into a fighting stance. He kept his joints slightly bent and ready to spring out of the way as soon as his opponent tried to retaliate as well as digging his claws into the chilled soil and keeping his tail and ears tucked out of reach. She didn’t allow her eyes to remain in one place for very long, and with Poison’s help there wasn’t much that could sneak up on her. The home field advantage would hopefully shie in their favor, but fate and the gods had never been kind to Klein or Abraxas. Sunset gaze caught movement to the side of her. A smaller horn clad woman raced towards her stealthily. If Venom was anything it was light on her feet. The young Empress aimed to pivot so she was head on with her opponent. Adrenaline raced through her as the heat of battle descended.

Poison immediately spotted the snake and aimed to leap at and grab its head before it could strike his mistress. Venom used her own open jaws to parry the fireside raider’s attack on her throat. In retaliation she aimed to swat wildly at the woman’s face with her sharpened feline claws.

He missed and instead of going with the flow Tyrian lurched away to regroup. The other man was fast which meant Tyrian, heavy as he was, would have to be smarter. Or...something. Because he'd stepped to the side, Hattori's chest boop missed its target and instead glanced off his shoulder. Tyrian responded immediately by crouching slightly and shoving with all of his might in Hatori's direction. His goal was to slam the outside of his shoulder into his opponent's nose and bust it open. In the long run a bloody nose was nothing, but in the moment it made the eyes water terribly and it hurt like a bitch which would, hopefully, be the sort of distraction that would give Tyrian the upper hand and then the fight.

Out of the corner of his eye Jupiter could see wolf after wolf fling his or herself savagely at another single. It was not unlike his bachelor party on the beach; strangers leaping for strangers and doing unspeakable things to one another out in the open. The premise was also quite lovely in Jupiter's opinion. Everyone else looked like they were having a great time. And yet, here he was, with a crazy ass woman who seemed determined to kill all of his figurative or literal boners whenever the opportunity arose. Fuck him, man. If he went raiding to another pack would she be there too?

His paw made contact with a satisfying smack and then Viper was around and bowling into his legs. She hit him at the bends while trying to bite his lower chest so he did was any half-assing jackass would do: he let his forelegs get swept back so that he could fall forward. If it went according to plan he'd fall limp and heavy over Viper's neck and back. With the size difference he was sure to smash her to the ground and render her immobile; which, from experience, he knew was about all he could hope for with this woman.

It took the boy longer than the rest simply because he'd had to swim from his and Siren's island to answer the call. By the time the black and white young wolf arrived at the scene, most of the wolves were already battling. His blood boiled and he flashed fangs as a snarl rippled from him. How dare these lowly heathens pull him away from the island? He didn't so much care that they were attacking Ashen, but he had been quite content spending his day with Siren. Pongolo's loud, shrill call notified Sparrow of an attacker from behind. She tuned, able to meet him head on as he came around her left side and aimed to take a chunk out of the left side of her face. Sparrow sought to counter his attack, bringing her sword around and aiming the blade to the crook of his open maw where the corner of his lips were, hoping the sharp blade could slice the delicate flesh that was pulled taut from his splayed jaws as he moved forward.

Jack meanwhile lashed out with his little grubby monkey hands, seeking to throw himself atop Adrian's head and pull his ears back painfully, acting as a distraction while Sparrow capitalized on his own attack.

Ash was alerted to the presence of another by the painful thud of the flail connecting with his left shoulder. Maybe he got a little too involved watching the other fights. He turned to see a pale man and Ash let an easy smile overcome the grimace he wore from the pain in his shoulder. Ashmedai wasted no time kicking off and attempting to ram his spiked chest into the chest of the pale opponent that faced him. It would be a shame to poke holes and bloody up such a pretty coat, Ash thought to himself, but all the while he kept moving on his attack. Satisfaction ran through Éldi as he collided with his foe. He felt a sharp pain in his chest where he'd collided with the other man's shoulder but it was a small price to pay for a successful hit. His fangs latched onto the Ashen man's face, digging into flesh. He hoped to gain a hold and he swiftly attempted to raise his upper limbs and wrap them around the man's neck. However, as he attempted this move the man's paw rose and connected with his upper chest, pushing him back forcefully. Éldi swiftly brought his front legs down to steady himself and in doing so lost his grip on the man's face.

Not to be deterred Éldi kept his defenses set and charged again, this time he aimed to bite onto Raijin's shoulder, the same one he'd slammed into in hopes of dealing more damage.

He felt his flail strike home against the steel blue male and as he brought his head back to it's natural resting position his gaze caught that of his opponent and he saw the smile despite the obvious grimace and Plague had to grin around the handle of the flail that he had grasped in his teeth. Good, at least it'd be a fun fight despite the circumstances. The heavier man lunged forward with the spikes of his armor aimed toward his chest and didn't give Plague a lot of time to dodge. Plague didn't try to jump out of the way, instead angling himself so that the skull on his shoulder and the largest piece of leather that covered his chest would at least take most of the damage. He took the hit with a muffled grunt and a rumbling growl, feeling the spikes puncture his skin in spaces where his armor didn't cover along his right leg and in the small space where the armor cut off around the right side of his chest. With the stabilized stance and his claws gripped into the dirt he was able to not be knocked back more than a half step as he absorbed the impact. The hard spikes threatened to poke through the leather, but didn't quite make it and instead just put pressure on his chest and left some light bruising underneath. He quickly tossed the flail to the side since they were now in too close for him to effectively use it and went in with an attempted bite to the side of the man's neck in the same motion, wanting to grip near where his neck and jaw met. This wasn't a spar, there was no need for him to hold back or feel concern over injuring his opponent so he was going to take full advantage of that fact. The pair were matched in several ways, from their large height to their enormous weight. It felt like two beasts colliding as they pushed against each other, grunts and snarls erupting from both like the feral animals they were. This wasn’t a fight to maim or kill each other, rather it was a fight more so of pride. Of proving dominance and dominion over the other and while Raijin lacked some skill from his travels and still healing wounds, he’d been in worse conditions and still managed to come out on top.

The other man’s body collided with his once more on the same shoulder he’d attacked before, rearing back before rushing in with wide jaws in an attempt to sink his teeth into his shoulder. Raijin back-peddled in an attempt to dodge the blow, his own teeth and razer sharp saber canines glinting in the light as he himself attempted to bite into his foe’s shoulder. Movement caught his eye and Álarr turned to see a woman charging toward him. He kicked off to meet her. Lowering his head he ducked her fangs and attempted to slam the front of his horns into her throat in hopes of striking with enough force to knock the breath from her and maybe even collapse her windpipe. At almost the same time he attempted to bite onto her chest to take some of her blood in payment for losing some of his own.

While his movement brought his neck out of reach of her fangs, it was just enough to prevent her from getting a grip. Her lower fangs still cut light lacerations into the back of his neck, sending red droplets to stain his snow white fur. Álarr kept his defenses set as well as he could, making sure to keep his ears pinned and tail tucked. He also quickly rolled his shoulders forward as he attempted to pull in close to his opponent.

As she effectuated her attack, the male ran to her aswell. They attempted to ram their horned head into her neck, aiming to perhaps restrain her air supply. Quickly she attempted to move to her left to change the place of impact to her left shoulder. There the damage won't be as dangerous as one to her windpipe. Hopefully, by doing this his bite would also reach her shoulder and not her chest, still causing her blood to crawl free. Simultaneously she arched her neck to the right aiming to grab the base of their skull between her jaws aiming to dominate him. Her ears were pinned and her tail up for balance. She did her best to keep her stance firm and steady by widening her legs. The man moved to avoid her blow. No matter. Sparrow discarded the sword as quickly as she had drawn it, leaving Jack to leap down from his place and collect it for her to sheath again later. Maw free, she was able to work around Adrian a little more easily. As the other swung back around in an attempt to clamp down on her jaw, Sparrow flung open her own maw. They could meet with clashing of teeth- just as painful for Sparrow- and maybe by the end of it she'd end up with his tongue. Too bad he wasn't a cute girl or Sparrow might have been tempted to turn this into a make out fest. But since he was just another stinky boy, Sparrow figured he probably wouldn't miss his tongue too much.

Ashmedai's spikes made contact, despite the other male angling away slightly. Ash would take it as a success, though it was short lived as the other man braced himself and turned to bite Ashmedai, his teeth sinking in where Ash's jaw met his neck. A growl rumbled in his throat. His maw faced the other's ear and Ashmedai took full advantage of it, "Kinky, but at least take me to dinner first," he rumbled before moving to bite, grip, and tear the other's ear. If you could add a little psychological warfare into the mix, that was always good. And if not, then it was just normal flirting and, well, Ashmedai could settle for that too.
