For every shiver? Tyrian snorted a soft laugh and shook his head incredulously. He sighed dramatically. "I'm going to be in debt forever." He flipped his paw around and spread the toes in a placating gesture. "If I'm to have any chance at repaying you, you'll have to be close by... Ah," he said as though struck by an idea. "You're in luck, there's a vacancy in my collection."

Okay he was getting really cold. Had Keetie been smaller Tyrian would have curled around her and then hopefully they both would have fit under the cape better. As it was his butt and belly freezing, and he thought he could fix one of those things. Keetie was practically on top of him so he struggled to move, but he needed to get certain thin skinned spots away from the ice. In the process of moving Tyrian accidentally lifted part of the cape, allowing the inhabitants to blasted with icy air. He slammed it shut immediately and then fixed Keetie with an apologetic look. "Sorry."

Well his cold bits were still cold so he had to keep wiggling. The risk of letting the cold in again was very real but it was one he was going to have to take. Tyrian shifted around until he was laying on his right hip. The plush fur would handle the ice better than his belly. He then curled his tail up between his legs and buried his feet into Keetie's fur. If she was going to crawl on him and play vampire to his warmth, then he deserved to be able to do the same.

The polar bear cape offers some protection from the bitter winds that lash across the ice bridge, but it doesn't fully erase the cold that pushes in from all sides. Suddenly the wind seems to halt, the ice bridge growing silent - save for the eerie sound of ice creaking below. The stillness lingers a moment longer before being interrupted by a slow-growing tremor from the ice itself. The vibrations are accompanied by the eventual sound of hooves, beating hard and fast against the ice... and straight towards you. The cape is nearly whipped off in a flurry as a group of creatures pass you abruptly on both sides. They move so fast, in fact, that all you see is the tail end of a group of what appear to be caribou as they hurry to the other side at breakneck speed...

“Guess that means I can look you up any time I’m in need of kisses” she told him. First, she would have to figure out where his pack resided. There was one good thing about pack life - it made it easier for Keetie to find you and steal kisses. “Or are you inviting me in for a few nights?” she wiggled her brows at him. She had already informed him of her thoughts of staying somewhere for keeps - but a few nights of fun? She wouldn’t say no to that. “I could grace your collection for just a day or two, so you can always remember the perfect piece it's missing.”
Was she vain?
No. Not at all.

The large blue wolf was shifting and moving beneath her. Made awkward with how much of her was on top of him. When he shifted the coat and let in a blast of cold air, Spice yowled, and swiped at his ear. Keetie thought that summed it up pretty well.

When he finished rolling, she settled more firmly onto his belly. All of her weight onto him now, even her paws were off the ice. Mmmm. She supposed she could forgive him for the cold wind. He playfully massaged her claws into his belly - not enough to hurt, just enough to tingle a little. His own cold toes were digging into her armpits, but the shared body heat made everything a little easier. Spice was curled up on his forehead, and Keetie was careful not to squish the cat as she rested her head on his cheek.

When the howling wind fell silent, it was very, very obvious.she cautiously raised her head a little, and peeked an eye out of the covers. Gaining another hiss from Spice, but the cold wasn’t so bad when it wasn’t being driven by the wind. She let out a very cute and totally not child-like squeak as the strange, rhythmic beating she had been hearing came into view. The deer-creatures upon them and passed so fast she had no time to do anything but dig her claws tightly into Ty, and hold on for dear life. Afraid of being trampled or pushed into the ocean. None of that happened, and the fast-moving butts were quickly vanishing. Well. Shit. “See what chased them or start fleeing?” she could hop on board either boat. She was a beautiful dame, but also a fighter. If it was a bear, she was getting her own damn coat.

She gave him options, which seemed a touch unfair. Didn't she deserve both? He was quite the catch himself... "Hmmm both?" He pretended to think about it for a second and then added with faux solemnity, "Definitely both."

Keetie took advantage of his movements to weasel her way fully on top of him. That was fine and all, he'd just bury his feet further into her fur and call it even. Tyrian was about to make a comment about how if this was going to go full cowgirl he was going to insist the cat sit outside when the sudden silence outside caught his attention. Anyone who had ever been in a forest when all the insects fell silent would know how he felt. Something was amiss and a pretty girl getting all tangled up in his business wasn't quite enough to deafen him to danger. Yet. If the cat hadn't been there and his odds better....maybe.

His ears rang in the uncomfortable silence and because of this he felt the pounding hooves before he heard them. Still using his inside voice, he murmured, "What the f-" Tyrian lifted the edge of the cape to look out and it was a good thing too as the sudden blast of animals passed them would have yanked it away from him had he not been able to sink his claws into the second he felt it slipping. Dimly he was aware of Keetie's claws in his hide. Inside voice gone, he spit, "Fuck!" In an instant the herd was gone and all Tyrian could do was blink dumbly after them. He relaxed his claws - apparently he'd clenched all of his too, sorry Keetie - and let go of the cape.

“See what chased them or start fleeing?” His head swiveled around so he could look at her. "Flee? No, we explore the fuck out of that." Playfully he kicked at her belly to encourage her to get of of him. "Let's go, princess, time to run into the mouth of danger."

Wow! She felt the rush of blood as his claws sunk into the soft tissue of her armpits. She had not been aware that he bore similar claws until that moment. With the rush of adrenaline shooting through her veins at the sudden danger of flailing hooves, and the feel of his claws sinking into her flesh, she let out a soft noise more akin to pleasure to pain. She could almost think Ty was thinking along similar thoughts, putting it into a single word of fuck! Before realising it was probably more a reaction to surprise then attraction.

His claws released their grip in her flesh, and he was encouraged to explore instead of turn tail. Her grin widened, and - ignoring the potential danger of getting stuck, once more - planted a kiss firmly across his lips. Opening her muzzle wide and placing his nose in her mouth for a moment. Her eyes danced down on him as she held him beneath her for a moment, and then jumped free.

“Brr!” shit, she had forgotten how the cold felt in her paws. She stamped her paws a few times to get feeling back into them, and spoke “Mines the only dangerous mouth you’ll find this evening” she warned him, but she looked clearly pleased at the endearment he had called her by. “Lead the way, oh brave Alpha-Knight”

He smirked up at her, waiting for her to oblige and hop off him so they could begin (continue?) their adventure. She had exactly two seconds to get up before he dumped her on the ice - something he would enjoy probably a little too much. She surprised him by first kissing him and then sucking on his nose. Tyrian's smirk faltered for only a second as he waited to see if she would get stuck and then he chuckled, "Keep it up and you're gonna start something we don't have time to finish."

Finally she was up and he could get to his paws. As there were monsters to be had Tyrian got up immediately and didn't bother shaking out his coat. Casually he flipped one side up over Keetie as she shivered because yeah, that's right, he was a fucking gentleman. Her statement about dangerous mouths pulled a throaty hum from him. My god, this woman. He wanted to bring her home so bad. Harking back to a previous conversation, he asked, "Promise?"

Okay, exploration time. At least the wind was gone. The ice underfoot was as smooth and slick as it had been minutes, and Tyrian found himself stepping from snow patch to snow patch in an effort to keep from slipping around too much. "It's not-" One leg tried to get away from him and he had to rein it in. "So bad without the wind."

Ha! She was just buttering him up as she bided time until they could escape into a cave and get to know each other properly. The moment Ty was up, he was throwing her share of the bear coat over her again. Mmmm her kind of gentleman. She nudged his side softly and smiled at him, so he would know she appreciated the gesture.

“Oh love, you have no idea” she winked as she brushed past him - but not moving very far ahead. After all, she had a bear cover to share. As she moved, she felt him start to slip. She leaned over and gripped the bear cover in her teeth. Letting it pull against him if he needed the support well he found his paws. “If you decide to take a swim, you're doing it alone. My toes are far too pretty to fall off with frostbite” she warned him, giving him time to get his ice-bridge feet.

Even using his claws Tyrian found the ice to be too slippery for sure movements. It made him wonder how the hoofed creatures had managed to run by so fast. All he'd seen was a glimpse but he was willing to bet he'd have noticed if one slipped. It seemed rather likely if one had lost its footing it would have taken several of its friends down with it. That they were able to run was enough to make Tyrian a bit jealous, but knowing they could do it without fear of falling had him wishing for whatever magic they possessed.

"Don't you worry about your toes," he said as he glanced down into the water. He really could have lived without the reminder it was there. It looked so fucking cold; like a dip would freeze him instantly. "Any part of you gets wet..." Tyrian glanced slyly over at Keetie. "I promise I'll take care of it."

It didn’t take long for Ty to find his paws again, and Keetie kept her own steps slow and careful. Jokes aside, an ice bath would probably be a death sentence for them. Getting back onto the slippery bridge would be impossibly hard, and they were a long way from shore. Not to mention how cold she would get if every part of her was wet.

She was not, however, one to dwell. Perhaps that was why she landed in mischief so easily. She wiggled her hips at Ty as she looked over at him. “I’m going to hold you to that, cowboy.” she found herself peering carefully ahead, looking to see what had been chasing the deer. Where the bridge was going, and so on. She really wanted to get her chance to take Ty away somewhere nice and warm and comfy.

Though the two of you push on valiantly, you've reached a point where you cannot continue across the ice bridge any further. The wind is simply whipping too hard, the temperatures rapidly plummeting, and going further would bring about certain death.
You must turn back!

It was becoming clear that they simply weren't made for this. Whatever those creatures were, wherever they'd come from, this was just too much. They were too light, the air was too cold, any second now one of both of them would slide into the water. Even if they managed not to, how long did they have until the cold brought them down? Tyrian was pigheaded, he'd proudly admit to it, but even he had his limits. There was still too much in the world that he wanted to do to be willing to die out here in the frozen boonies. It just wasn't worth it

The wind was at an all time high and he was just about deaf himself, so Tyrian leaned over to Keetie and sought to press his lips to her ear. "We should turn back and find ourselves a little cave for the night away from this hellscape." A little fire, a little food, a little company. If they made it back they deserved to celebrate just being fucking alive at this point.

Hallelujah! He had seen the light. Her nose was running and she could feel frost at the ends of her fur. The bitter wind brought tears to her eyes and made her steps uncertain. This was his journey, and she had only ever been along for the ride. Huddled under his bear skin with him wasn't doing enough anymore to keep they warm. They needed a cave out of the wind and some vigorous exercise - just to make sure the blood still flowed to every inch of them. Her delicious smile was hidden my the cold gale, but she placed a paw over his. A gesture to say she had understood and agreed. She didn't bother trying to waste her breath, knowing her quieter tones would only be lost.

She started to turn, knowing he woukd join her in the movement. She made sure she didn't lose her place under his bear cover, and that her cat - miserable and huddled in his fur - was still breathing. It was time to get out of here. Having their backs to the wind helped make breathing a little easier, and she dared to speak. "After we get out blood pumping and sleep off the cold, we should see if we can find one of those deer creatures for an interesting breakfast!" She shouted his way to be heard. Which, of course, took away most of the purr and underlining tones.

As expected Tyrian moved with Keetie as she turned around. It wasn't until she checked on her companion nestled in his fur that he remembered the cat was there. He was so used to having a little weight on his back it barely registered at this point. Tashi sat there so often it was a wonder how there wasn't a permanent ass mark back there.

"I think I could eat a whole one by myself at this point!" he shouted back. The cat hadn't moved in a bit but Tyrian figured if something was wrong with it Keetie would have said so, so he turned his attention to the path ahead. All traces of their passage so far had been wiped away. He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting exactly considering the wind, but he'd thought there would be something. Instead it looked just like the path into the unknown. The only difference, really, was the direction of the wind. "I bet it'll take us half as long to get back," he said with a laugh as the wind seemed to shove him forward. "If we had something to ride on I bet we could slide down this bridge."

Well, the pig would have to share. She had ready worked up an appetite with all this exercise. She was parched, too, but there was little she could do about that. She wasn't willing to melt some of this ultra-cold ice on her tongue. She would probably just glue herself to the bridge instead. Thinking of food made her stomach growl, but she knew she could force it to wait. The distraction of Ty would help with that. He looked like he knew what he was doing, and would be a fun ride. They just needed to get their sorry asses off this bridge.

She barked out a sharp, deeply amused laugh at his next comment. Oh! How she wished in thay moment they had something solid and flat they could skate on. Perhaps, if she was really persuasive, she could have gotten Ty to steer it well she kicked her feet up and enjoyed the thrill ride. Alas. There was nothing available to use.
Perhaps she could convince him to sled off a few snowy banks over the next day or so. If their paths still crossed at that point.

Mmmm.

She glanced over at the delicious looking wolf, and knew she would be happy to spend some time getting to know and play with him. She let out a mock sigh. "If only you'd had the forethought and planning" She said regretfully.

Oh this was his fault, huh? Sure, he could work with that. Tyrian rolled with her accusation and hung his head in shame. "Right?" He shook his head sadly. "We could be riding back in style, but alas, I was distracted by this gorgeous," he rolled his head as though unable to do the beauty justice with words alone, "Woman. Antlers on her head, cat on her back." He sighed. "Maybe I would have had the sense to go back for supplies if she hadn't swept me off my feet."

Oh, the sook. She laugher softly at his antics, not believing them for a moment. The humble, hanging head didn't suit him. She loved it all the same, the cutie. Stiffling the laughter, she put on a sad, understanding expression. Reaching over, she gave his paw a gentle pat, digging her claws in gently to grip it, before letting go again. "Its okay, Love. I understand. You were awestruck, and off your game. It happens to the best of us" her voice was filled with sorrowful understanding. He was just a mere mortal in the presence of something unearthly. Her lips twitched with the effort of holding in an unlady like snicker.

The track back across the ice was still harrowing, but having thr wind at their backs made all the difference. In what felt like half the time, she could see they were almost back at land. Oh, but it would be good to have something more solid under her paws. She wanted a warn den, a snuggle, an appreciation of Tyrs beauty, and a meal. She didn't even care what order it all came in. She wanted everything.

Tyrian fought the smirk that threatened to play across his features as Keetie played along. He doubted he would have lasted so long on this adventure were it not for the woman who went with him. Though the journey had been slow and painful in a frostbite sort of way, not once had it been dull. Save for the rare serious moment they'd bickered and bantered amicably the whole while. Her presence warmed him in more ways than one. Going hand and hand with the attraction, he felt a bit of rivalry with her; the need to press on and do better, and maybe, if he wasn't asking too much, to come out a little ahead. No doubt that rivalry was what had kept him going. Tyrian didn't give up easy, but even he recognized they'd abandoned reason by venturing so far.

He sighed, the sound possibly swallowed up by the wind, and yelled back sarcastically, "How lucky I am to have found such an understanding travel companion!"

Finally land was in sight. Tyrian wasn't sure if it was the company, the rising hopeful feeling, or the steady shoving of the wind, but the return journey felt much quicker. That he could see the shoreline was no small comfort. It didn't hurt that once the land was reached the only thing standing between him and a little fun was the acquisition of a cave. Hell, he'd settle for a windfree nook at this point. "You know where we're going?" The cold wasn't really his thing so his knowledge of the North was limited. And the lands adjacent to this one? Those frosty hellscapes? He knew even less about them. Hopefully Keetie had a sense of where they could go to warm up.
