training the new growth [Ashen Meeting]

As her mother greeted the pack and explained the reason for the meeting, Kitsune felt her grin grow. It displayed itself for a moment before she contained it and adapted a more professional expression. But inside, she was glowing. She wanted the chance to teach. It was the best way to learn, too, right? And a good way to really do something with the new rank she had earned herself.
As wolves around her began to speak up, she let her eyes fall on one of Plague’s children. What better way to thank her Uncle for the support and help he had given her? “I would like to train Seere, if you’ll permit it” she said, speaking up so both Seere and her mother would hear it.

All she had to do was sit here and look like she belonged, that’s all that was being asked of her. Self doubt continued to creep into her life, and she was stunted from being the Princess she should have been. Kiyohime hoped that maybe helping to teach would give her more than a better understanding of her own craft, but a deeper confidence. Her mismatched ears perked to listen as the youths introduced themselves one by one. She took special note of Celeste speaking up, wanting to maybe get a lesson or go hunting with her.
Right after that the Princess attention was caught by one of her cousins speaking up. Saia wanted her to be her mentor. Ike tried to hide the fact that her jaw dropped, it was so surprising when she doubted herself so much. She wasn’t sure she could even say anything though, but after a glance towards her mother Shuriken nodded her head in delight. Many emotions raced through her and she tried to hide them and be professional like a princess should be.
"I would like to mentor, Saia.” She returned as her dual toned gaze returned to the young girl. She gave her a smile before she looked up to her brother’s friend. "And maybe learn some of your hunting strategies, Miss Celeste.” She added with a little blush over her pale features.
"Kiyohime Shuriken Ōritsu Abraxas"

Unbreakable Survivor
It seemed the youths she had decided to join didn’t care if she was with them if their non-responsiveness was any indication. Ciannait shrugged striped shoulders and took a seat next to them, gaze drifting towards her Empress. She had wondered how the boy who had disturbed her fishing would react to her presence. However, she was fine with zero reaction. Once everyone who wanted to join this meeting were here, the monochrome woman began.
It seemed this meeting was mostly for the youth. Luckily for Cian, she was still quite young. However, she was not a puppy under a year, and had quite the experience trying to teach herself how to live. These youth were blessed with a peaceful upbringing, unlike her. They were able to learn from their elders, their family and pack. That was what this meeting was about. It was an opportunity to help the pups find their mentors, their teachers. Cian’s turquoise optics glanced around at all the youth around with dawning understanding. She then allowed her gaze to drift towards all the adults around who had arrived to support the youth of their pack.
The girl waited, uncertain to everyone’s chosen skill sets. Ciannait wanted to take this opportunity she was offered. She wanted to learn. However, unlike the pups surrounding her, she didn’t know the rest of the pack very well, and couldn’t make her choice as quickly. As the adults voiced what they could teach, Ciannait noted that most offered skills in fighting. She was not good at fighting, and honestly didn’t have much interest in it. Now hunting was different. She loved the rush it brought, loved how it made her mind work through strategies. Traveling was also an interest of hers. Seeking out what the world around her offered. It’s challenges, it’s bounty.
Though none of the adults seemed to offer exploration as their skills, she did pay attention to those who offered lessons in hunting. There was a woman with what appeared to be ram horns protruding from her crown. She had offered her skills in hunting and crafting. Ciannait turned towards the woman and nodded to her. Celeste, the horned woman had introduced herself as. ”Would you be willing to teach me a thing or two about hunting?” she asked the horned woman. ”I’m self-taught, and know some of my… techniques… could be worked on.” Ciannait admits a bit sheepishly. ”My name is Ciannait,” the yearling quickly adds. The earthen toned yearling waits a moment for the teal eyed woman to give her answer, and then ”I’m also interested in exploring the lands, I love checking out the different terrains and finding paths to hard to reach places,” She continues, ”If there’s anyone who wants to join me in my efforts to navigate and explore these lands, I would love the company, and welcome any tips and tricks that come from it.” Cian smiles, and falls silent.
Thinking

There wasn’t but a few moments of silence before Seere stepped forward and spoke up first, the innocent child offering her name and what she would most desire to train under. Venom smiled at the girl as she spoke, silently encouraging her before she fell silent and her father spoke to offer himself for anyone to train with. Sitri said much the same before he looked up to her own brood who were fully of age to take on apprentices. Pleione spoke up next, taking up Plague in his offer for teaching the younger wolves.
Celeste spoke up next, offering her own expertise if it was needed. Saia quietly spoke up, and specifically requested Princess Kiyohime as her mentor. Venom lifted a curious brow but did not interject especially when Ike agreed to such an arrangement. Kitsune took the opposite approach and asked to mentor the young Seere. Venom couldn’t deny either pairing would be a good course of action. Ciannait spoke up as well, seeking her own teacher humbly.
"I approve of all of these pairings. Would anyone else like to speak up?” There were a couple that hadn’t offered their services or asked for them but Venom trusted Plague to help with his children’s teaching in either case. She did give a pointed look at Kuroki though.
"I hope you all enjoy this time to learn and grow, both teachers and students. I will offer myself if any of you feel like you need extra help, but I encourage you to ask the Princes and Princesses.” She gestured to her nearly fully adult children. "Next time we gather I look forward to meeting stronger versions of yourselves.” If there wasn’t anything else to be said, Venom would dismiss the gathering.
