To the same altar that he'd approached to decorate, Ivy made his way.  Though he'd sent the nearly-yearling boy to lay their decoration, it seemed to the slight boy would be drawn back here.  He needed to bring something of his own, something that was uniquely his, as an offering.  It seemed the statue had been pleased with their wreath, and the familiars had placed it upon the statue as a necklace.  Maybe it was jewelry that this god liked?  Beautiful things... Ivy, too, liked beautiful things.  With soft steps, he padded over the ground, and returned to the statue.

A bracelet that he'd found a little while ago near the river, that seemed like something this god might appreciate.  Ivy had picked it up in one of his travels, as the stone in the center had caught his eye.  A pretty purple chunk of amethyst, a delicate silver cuff.  Carefully, he approached the statue and set down the piece of jewelry.  Yes, that seemed right.  It seemed like he'd done a good job.
"Speech"

NPC:

This wolf brought an accessory, and though pretty, held no significance. Its metal was cold and unfeeling. Had it been discarded before? It was fine, but just pretty as he set it before the statue. He had done a good job, not a great job, but a good enough one.

As you leave, a firefly draws your attention to an item.

Daemon ghosted through the mushroom-lit cavern in his odd, jerky sort of way, in fits and starts as he paused to observe before slinking forward. In his mouth he held a wrapped cloth that dangled some small burden down beneath his jaw. When he came upon the altar, he froze as though a statue himself, staring like he was looking past it but missing nothing. With a jerk he began to move again, to slink his way up to it and drop the bundle before the statue where other offerings had been made. The cloth opened of its own accord, but he poked at it to push the sides off and reveal the contents. The variety of psilocybin mushrooms that tumbled out had seemed a reasonable offer to a god or spirit that would choose to place its representative statue within a network of caverns lit by hallucinogenic mushrooms of its own, but he had offered a wide variety of types different than what was found here rather than simply taking some off the walls. That would be rude and tightfisted of him. Cocking his head to the side, lizardlike, he eyed the statue before scuttling back out.

NPC:

The young wolf brought a sack of mushrooms- an odd thing for one as small as he. The god did like mushrooms- though now she had plenty, she always wanted more- and she liked their affects. It was easy, though. Predictable even, but she didn't fault him.

Later you find an item with a mushroom growing off of it.
