Together then. His brother’s words dug deep into Zagan’s twisted soul- a sense of unity rushing through his body, as they took a silent vow to bring their Mother’s vision to life. This was a testament of their strength and resolve- they weren’t surrendering to the pain of the past- of the loss of their Mother. They were owning it, and shaping their own reality- even if their Father might try to kill them for it.

While Xairo struck the flint stone with his blade, Zagan leaned in to nurture the flame- blowing softly into the glowing embers, fanning the tiny flame until it caught the rest of the tinder on fire. Slowly, it rose into a flame that reached out into the heavens, creating an ethereal glow across their altar.

Xairo watched with bated breath as the small flame flickered to life under Zagan's careful tending. A sense of awe washed over him as the fire grew, its warm light dancing across the altar and casting long shadows behind them. As the fire stabilized, Xairo felt a surge of pride and accomplishment. This was their creation, born from their mother's teachings and their own determination. He glanced at Zagan, seeing the firelight reflected in his brother's eyes, and felt a deep connection to him in that moment. They were in this together, united in purpose and bound by blood.

Xairo's gaze swept over the altar they had constructed - the sturdy stone platform, the carefully arranged elements, and now the living flame at its heart. It was more than just a physical structure; it was a conduit to something greater, a bridge between their world and the realms beyond.
