His sister was so brave and smart and he couldn't help but smile as she began to speak after he arrived. He hadn't missed the meeting, but sure felt late as he lowered himself to sit on his haunches -- but not before returning the nuzzle she had given him happily. He remained near her for a long moment, watching with eager eyes. He did not fully understand everything she said, but he would try, only occasionally glancing at a nearby creature. He didn't know all of the wolves here, but wanted to know more of them.
He would turn and see Araceli, the woman he had met and invited to come to Ludicael with him -- his smile would widen and his tail would begin to wag behind him as he shuffled to sit nearby her, offering a gentle touch of his nose to her side. His attention would falter as it seemed nothing Song said concerned him, and he found his mind straying.

Song greeted each of the wolves in turn. Aurora arrived shortly after him, her stomach swollen with the life growing inside of her. He was very excited for the pups. When most of the pack had arrived Song began to talk. When she glanced to the couple with her words about new members, his face lit up. But then Song moved onto the main point of the meeting. He smiled. Glad of his promotion. He was thrilled that Song had given him the rank. As all he had ever wanted to do was teach people how to defend themselves. He did not mind the two lessons a season policy, in fact he loved it. As Song concluded what she had to say he wondered when he would host his lessons. His first would probably be held quite soon. He supposed that he should say so. "Just to let the fighting apprentices know, the lesson will be coming up fairly soon." He glanced around. Wondering who showed interest in the field of self defence.
Novella's guess had indeed been correct, and as more of the pack began to gather, the girl shifted slightly to give her sister more space, though certainly not wanting to stray too far from the members of her family that had started to gather. A quiet greeting would be given to Satu as her cousin arrived, and eventually when it appeared enough of the pack were present, Song would begin the meeting.
What awful news, her thoughts lingered more upon her nieces than either of the other names, those two certainly not being all that familiar to her. With a slightly guilty thought, Novella wasn't sure how she had managed to miss the presence of Fal'Dara and Lakota. The children were definitely getting bigger and more independent though, hopefully they would be back soon. She had once caught and joined Fal'Dara in exploring several months ago after all, evidently the idea to wander around the lands had been lingering in her mind for quite some time.
In all honesty, Novella was quite pleased by the alteration in the system, she and Satu would be able to join the same rank as her brothers without having to solve their indecisiveness just yet. The lessons certainly sounded intriguing as well, she'd taken a few private ones with Song though she definitely needed some more work. That seemed to be the main points covered, though with nothing else for her to add, she remained sat silently for now.
