She couldn?t refuse him, couldn?t move away, bound by so many things that she wanted and the desire to offer him something. Taurig didn?t leave her waiting for long, moving to pull her beneath him, and Argent imagined for a moment what it might feel like to be his. She could live the delusion for now, in his arms, surrounded by his scent, safely on the outskirts of his kingdom. And then, they were joined together in the most intimate of ways, and Argent?s sin had been committed. He whispered to her and she couldn?t help but whisper something back. ?You know I love you too,? she said softly, before she lost herself beyond words, and lost herself to his grasp. ?fade?-

-fade black- Hell was going to break loose and he was prepared for it. He expected and a part of him relished in it. He had hit his father where it most hurt and the bastard didn't even know it. He had taken his woman, taken her as his woman for the night and if she was able to mask their deed well enough, he would never be the wiser. She wasn't entirely the Ice King's anymore. A part of her belonged to him and he would hold on to that part with every fiber of his being. Part of him hoped that Isardis wouldn't find out because there was a real possibility that the Ice King could decide to punish the duchess for treason. And it was a definite thing that if he found out what had happened between them, he would send someone for his head if he didn't come for it on his own. But all is fair in love and war. Morning was on the horizon, pink tendrils reaching higher across the dark sky. The titan stood beside the duchess, his icy gaze riveted to her beautiful face. These last few moments were the only ones he would get with her ever again and he was committing her features to memory. The intense ruby gaze, the dark shadows that surrounded her rubies, the way her silver pelt glistened beneath the moonlight. She was a goddess and he would never forget her. Talk like this

She'd done it. She'd committed the ultimate sin against Isardis, the ultimate betrayal, and nothing could mask the panic that was setting into her now that she'd settled down from the high. Alas, she couldn't help but look at Taurig for what could be the last time, her heart sinking. Her tongue rasped out, seeking to press against his cheek and then retreat. With that she would rise, wordlessly turning her back to him. Actions spoke louder than words, after all, and she'd just kissed him.

And now she was leaving him, and perhaps that wasn't the message she desired to communicate at all, but she had no choice. Foot in front of foot, muscles contracting and releasing, she made her leave of Taurig. If only she were thinking of what could come from their interaction. -exit-

She would stand beside him for a few moments, her own ruby gaze intent on his figure like his were intent on hers. Her tongue would reach out to caress his cheek before her silver form would turn away from him before he had the chance to return the favor. The titan would take a step forward, as if to follow, but he would remain where he stood, watching as she disappeared back the way she came. The organ in his chest slowed down, each thump reverberating loudly and painfully against his chest. She was gone. -exit- Talk like this
