As she glanced around, it would seem that the pack was in unison -- most of them, anyway. Aerie would be their target, and to her surprise, the attack was only a week away. The silent, single sweep of her tail was the only thing that conveyed her excitement. It's for real this time... This was what she'd been training so hard for, ever since she'd arrived at the Armada. She would never have expected, then, to be as closely involved as this.

Two among them were given the rank of Lieutenant. Malalia beamed at Natha, nodding, and padded over to bump Resin's shoulder with a quick tail wag. "Congratulations!" The ashen woman was more than suited to the role, to say the least. As the rest of the pack trickled away, she took her seat among the remaining circle, eyes sweeping back to Sirius, ears pitched forward at attention.

Natha settled back as the conversation continued. She had no great stakes in any target and she nodded lightly as it was ultimately decided that they'd go for Aerie. She would need to make sure her armor and weapons were cleaned. She had stashed them away after the last raid. Hopefully there wouldn't be many repairs to make. Her ears flicked forward as Sirius addressed her and Resin. She was surprised and pleased to hear that she had been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Natha grinned, nodding to Resin and Malalia who had caught her eye. She moved in closer to the rest of the group before settling down, eager to hear why Sirius wanted them to stay. Was it business related to the upcoming raid?

Roan would have preferred that Iolaire follow after him when the meeting was through, but she was held back. He offered his wife a sympathetic glance and light kiss on the top of her head before he made his departure. She’d find him when they were done, in the meantime he’d debate if he wanted to train with Guff a bit or prepare a relaxing evening for his mate.. Maybe he’d manage both.

With one more glance he headed back to the cottage, his mind pondering the path the Armada would take. Onward to raiding Aerie, he couldn’t wait. A grin played on his features as he loped off, determined to get both items on his to do list done.

This must have been what he had chosen his short stick was for, staying behind. Dark ears perked curiously, awed that he would be asked to stay behind and not one of his brothers. He felt his heart flutter as he lifted his head a little higher after his aunty ruffled his mohawk. They would be raiding Aerie soon and Indy felt his heart flutter again, would he be chosen to come along? He wasn’t as good of a fighter as his brothers, but he felt like he could hold his own, besides he’d given Azure that notch in his ear…

His brother brushed passed him encouragingly and Indy smiled at his sibling before looking to Aslatiel. He gave his sister a wink and a smile before settling in beside Iolaire and looking to his father and mother expectantly.

The Armada wolves filed out, and Resin started the process of bringing his wolves into a closer circle. He gave her a short nod of approval, and cast his gaze about those wolves which he had chosen. He was careful not to disturb Zee, who had rested her head against his lowered neck. He kissed his Wife’s check gently, the simple affection without embarrassment, before he cleared his throat, and began. “Thank you. Today, I form a War Council, and you are the members of it. My children will rotate into this Council, and learn from the experience of it. Today, Indigo, that wolf is you.” he nodded to his purple child, and then cast his attention back to the larger group. “We have a target chosen for us - Aerie. I intend to come at them in a week’s time. We have very little time to finish our preparations. Walk among our warriors, and assist them in their training, do what you must to ensure they are ready. I will take also suggestions for our approach into this fight. These are the matters we are here to discuss, to voice your opinions, your ideas. And know that the wolves I intend to take with me to battle are as follows: Myself, Zee, Malalia, Tamsyn, Azure, Mortis, Resin, Natha, Iolaire, and one other.” he would take with him his best, those that held the higher ranks did so for a reason, and his two heirs had been fighting since they were old enough to move. They could take on any older wolf these days. "Deathbelle" & "Iolaire" & "Zee" & "Sirius"

The war council, he was a part of the war council. Indigo would have felt a bit more proud of where he sat had he not drawn the short straw to get here. The teenager in him felt offended, Sirius and Zee never considered him when it came to matters of importance. That point was only further proven when he wasn’t mentioned in the wolves that would be taken on the raid. His ears fell to his skull and he leaned in more heavily against his aunty for support and comfort. Was he doing something wrong? He trained hard, on his own, with Short Round, with his auntie and yet…

”I want to raid, Father.” He spoke up, his young voice already deepening a considerable amount despite the crack he tried to hide. The boy held his head up high and offered his deep blue gaze towards his parents, surely they wouldn’t deny him this.

When they all settled down Sirius explained that he was gathering a War Council. Natha grinned. She was pleased to be included so quickly, having only been with the pack a season. That must've meant her skills were speaking for themselves. Now if she could just have another good performance in the next raid. She nodded at the mention of training with the other warriors and helping them with their skills. Now that spring was here she toyed with the idea of leading a bear hunt. They were her specialty after all. Maybe she could leave the unmentionables on Fireside's border for Jupiter.

"Thank you, I appreciate the opportunity."

Tamsyn settled onto her haunches and listened as Sirius described the War Council that he had formed with this group around her and she looked around at them with a small smile. She knew that she still had a bit of learning to do herself, but she was proud to be among these fighters. They were all skilled and had potential to get even better. She hoped that perhaps she could help to motivate the whole pack to do that, but that wasn't the main focus right now. Right now they had a raid to plan and discuss. She listened to the names of wolves that had been listed off as wolves that would join them in their raid. She had at least a taste of most of their skills at this point so she was fairly confident in the group that had been selected. She wasn't surprised that she was in that list, but she still felt honored all the same. She glanced to Indigo when the young man requested that he be a part of the raid as well and she gave a small nod. She had experienced Mortis and Azure's skills a bit already, but Indigo was a newer face for her. She had to assume that the violet lad would have the same sort of training that those two had so she had no issue with him joining in if Sirus wished it.
