just one night couldn't be so wrong

Deathbelle sank into his embrace, grateful to have his arms around her and happy to forget herself there. She didn’t want to relive who she was, she wanted to live here and rebuild herself with Lament. With a guide to show her a better way to shield her heart. Had she loved to many? Was she really cursed? Would she lose Lament like she had lost so many others already? She hated to think of the future these days, it was so foggy and she was just so tired. Deathbelle took a deep breath and nuzzled against him needily. She might let him go eventually, but she felt so weak. Belle needed someone to hold her while she recovered from the crippling blow. Though one she had expected this outcome was not.
”Thank you, Lament.” She said softly as he kissed her cheek softly in support of a dear friend. He was everything she needed. She held more tightly to him, the now familiar need of him washing over her gently as she pushed away all other thoughts than the warmth he was at her side. A soft breath left her lips as she lifted them to his ear and squeezed him tight, ”Don’t let me go.” She repeated softly, closing her lavender eyes as she felt the fatigue of mid day hit her. The nocturnal woman wasn’t used to being awake with the sun.
