She must have been meant to fail on this day and her world to crumble around her. She couldn't explain the pain or the emotion that overwhelmed her as everything went black, the male's maim successful. All she had tried to do was protect another pack mate and to make the male back off and go home, but it seemed he had it out for their pack and he had every intention of being violent about it. His grip upon her head and her world going black made panic suddenly arise in her form her instincts to flee before being killed kicked in. She needed medical aid, especially now that she felt the warm blood oozing all down her face. She snarled as he took her down, landing face first into the mud and grass, littering her wounds with dirt and debris. She couldn't even manage to whimper or cry, instead she snarled and staggered to her feet.

She hated leaving him still able to attack another member, but if she didn't get medical aid, surely she would die. She tried to run, she tripped, she fell and her panic kicked into overdrive. Quickly picking herself back up she again took off away from the scene, retreating back into the pack lands.

REGARDING THE GREED VS ACAPELLA FIGHT

It's been brought to our attention that there was some concerns regarding Greed's maim.

Greed's maim is complete blinding it is NOT removal of the eyeballs.

I apologize if this was not clear in the judging but:

1. The 1st post states "blinding" not removal of eyes and thus the change of the maim in the second post is invalid

2. It is not possible for a wolf to completely pluck out another wolf's eyes. This is in the impossible maims list with things like "womb removal" (I kid you not someone actually thought this was a thing)

If you have questions on what is and isn't possible please reach out and ask a judge!

And the winner is...

DOMARI
Due to not posting within the time limit, KHARNAGE must give up by submitting, fleeing or passing out. Domari, your maim is successful and you have reached your limit of two knockouts. You may exit the raid without being stopped.

ooc:  Sorry Shrap!! We're hoping to finish up the raid super soon and the extra two days have passed.

Seabound and Aimless at Best

Dómari got the drop on his opponent but as he moved to blind the other he felt a stab in his heart.  He couldn't do this.  He couldn't do exactly what his enemies had done, he was better than this and besides the man he was fighting wasn't the one that had hurt Acapella like this.  Was it really fair of him to dam this man for his packmates crimes or his leaders transgressions?  At the last minute his head shifted and his fangs only pierced one of the man's eyes.  Once again Dómari felt the urge to retch and he swiftly backed off.  He'd had enough of this, mentally and physically.  His facial wound was bleeding again and he was starting to feel dizzy.  He wasn't going to be much help passed out on the battlefield where anyone could trip over him.

Swiftly he staggered toward where the healers would be tending to the wounded.  Perhaps if his head cleared up he could assist them in aiding his injured compatriots.

Valdis' round one total: 51/62

REGULUS:

WRITING

9/10 for Power Play:

  • Excessive Movements
-1 From the dodging to the new positioning to the attacks, you had Regulus move around quite a bit in a very short amount of time.
7/10 for Clarity:
  • Positioning
-3 if Regulus spun on his heels he would be facing Valid's right side, not her left. I'm subtracting 3 for this move because it negatively effects so many aspects of this fight post.
9/10 for Attacks:
  • +3 for bite
    +1 for maim attempt
  • +2 for chest slam
  • +2 for shoulder throw
  • +1 for paw swipe
5/5 for Defenses:
  • +1 for pinned ears
  • +1 for narrowed eyes
  • +1 for bent limbs
  • +1 for raised hackles
  • +1 for weight distributed evenly
10/10 for Injuries:

ROUND TWO

VALDIS:

WRITING

10/10 for Power Play:

  • None seen!
10/10 for Clarity:
  • All clear!
8/10 for Attacks:
  • +3 for bite
    +1 for severity
  • +2 for right shoulder throw
  • +2 for left shoulder throw
5/5 for Defenses:
  • +1 for flattened ears

Valdis' round two total: 52/62

REGULUS:

WRITING

10/10 for Power Play:

  • None seen!
5/10 for Clarity:
  • Attacks
-1 “He sought to sink his upper canines into the flesh at the left side of her spine, and his lower canines into the flesh of the right side of her spine...” If they are standing left to left then to make this move work, his upper teeth should be aimed at the right side of her tail and his lower teeth should be aimed at the left side.
  • Damage
-1 “Her teeth tangled in the fluffy hair of his tail...” Where on his tail?
-1 “Her teeth tangled in the fluffy hair of his tail, the front teeth snapping shut on the bone...” What kind of damage did he take from Valdis' bite and how severe is the wound?
-1 “...leaving him with a moderate bruise on the front of his left hind hock.” Valdis had been aiming for his kneecap, so why did her blow land on what google tells me is more or less a wolf's ankle? Because he's dropping his haunches, shouldn't her shoulder have landed higher up?
-1 “However, her left shoulder caught him squarely in the gut, several inches further down than her intended location...” Same as above; shouldn't this blow have landed higher up?
5/10 for Attacks:
  • +1 for golden shower
  • +1 for pin attempt
  • +0 for fart
  • +3 for bite
5/5 for Defenses:
  • +1 for tucked tail
  • +1 for eyes narrowed
  • +1 for hackles raised
  • +1 for ears flattened
  • +1 for weight distributed
3/10 for Injuries:
  • -2 for severe lacerations to tail (damage assigned by opponent)
  • -3 for fractured tail (damage assigned by opponent)
  • -1 for moderate bruising to left hock
  • -1 for severe bruising to bread basket

8/10 for Clarity:
  • Directions
-1 “His upper fangs to the left of her spine, his lower fangs to the right...” How did his upper fangs hit her left side and his lower fangs hit her right when they are standing left to left?
  • Movements
-1 what happened to Regulus' attempt to “sit” on her head? When she backed out from under him did she somehow manage to dodge the attack even though he was already in the process of crouching? Did she have to wiggle herself free? Was there damage?

And the winner is...

CELESTIAL
Due to no longer having any fighters capable of continuing with the raid, TALIS has been defeated. CELESTIAL has driven the raiders from their territory without the resources they came for. All healing times provided during judging begin now!
