She too was sticking around the same places, but that's mostly because her sister was. Her family were wanderers, and it was in her blood, but it was not in her blood to be separated from her family. In fact, this was where she had met with Lyre not too long ago. Now, as she gazed around the land, there was another wolf: one of the outsiders, one whom Tally knew, if she could recall. She had seen the boy before, though she hadn't really spoken with him. Now, though, she could.
She came upon him glancing down into one of the many pools, and her tail wagged behind her in greeting. "Greetings... Káti, is it?" she spoke with a smile.

Any Diamachi is allowed to crash in Irie's threads!

Another smile would grace her maw, and her tail would wag gently behind her. "You, little one," she answered with a soft laugh, blue eyes sparkling. "You are new to us, the Diamachi. While it is our way to wander, we are still family, and I've yet to welcome you, to teach you, to ask how you are taking to our ways." She spoke softly, but sincerely; she meant every word she spoke to the young boy, so much younger than her. She sat before the smaller boy, gesturing with her muzzle that he too ought to sit, with her, and near the pool.

She would nod at his words, head tipping as she considered him. It was free. It was what was appealing; it was partially why she stayed a wanderer. She could not imagine herself tied down; the very thought made her cringe. Her life was around the freedom, the peacefulness that came of being of the Diamachi. There were little fights, and when there was fights, they were quickly resolved. She had heard nothing but strife of the packs up north; she had no desire to be part of that. She nodded at his next words. There was plenty each person did not understand. "If that knowledge you lack is about the Diamachi, I can help you," she offered, smiling. The smile would drop and her eyes would widen at his question. That was... not a question she was asked often, and she had to give it some serious consideration.
"It... is my life," she began slowly, words forming like molasses. "I have been Diamachi by birth; it is what I know. It is a good life, too. I love the family, and I can't imagine leaving them... and I dislike the idea of being tied down to one place. It appalls me. That freedom you mentioned also has something to do with it..." she trailed off, thinking once more before beginning again. "Have I thought of settling down, figuratively, with a mate? Yes. It is my dream to have pups of my own, to teach as I have been taught and as I have taught others'. Even then, though, I would wander; I would teach my pups of this homeland of ours. I'd teach them to love it as I do. Wandering is in my blood.. I do not think I could live without it."

Irie's eyes widened with understanding, and she nodded solemnly. "I see. No, that is just... not what I'm interested. To limit where I go, to limit wolves as the packs up North do... No, I could never do that," she answered with a firm shake of her head. She listened again as that but trailed off, and the boy's voice would break for a moment. The woman would rise and nuzzle the boy's shoulder, sitting close to him with her fur brushing his; a comfort.
"I understand," she murmured, resting her head on his. "I understand completely." She stayed there, silent, for a few moments, before withdrawing her head and looking at him. She had not lost her family, but she knew others had - had her parents disappeared, she would have done everything she could to find them. If not for herself, then for her younger sister. It was that thought that caused her to have a snap decision, and she'd keep her eyes on the young man. "If you'd like," she spoke softly, tone genuine, "I can help you find her. You are young; you should know of your mother... and you should not go alone." It was the least she could do for the young man, this young Diamachi.
