He looked absolutely dreadful.

It wasn't in that "I haven't eaten in weeks" kind of awful but more of "I haven't groomed my pelt properly in ages" kind of disheveled look that made him look like a walking bush. He'd been "cursed" (as he liked to call it) with an unnaturally thick and fluffy pelt that could only come from having two arctic born wolves as his parents. Between the thick fur that covered his body and the foot fluff that made his feet twice as large as they actually were, he looked like a fish out of water in warmer climates. He even had a sort of beard fluff under his chin! So to put it in short terms he had twigs, leaves, and an assortment of dirt that clung to his pelt. In his mind there wasn't too much of an incentive to clean himself he was just going to continue traveling anyways.

He had absolutely no clue where he was heading. It'd been years since he'd been here and he'd been so young it wouldn't have mattered. He had no idea where he was going, but he knew it was futile to be hopeful that things were the same as when he'd left. Eventually he hoped to return north, but for now he was content to travel. When he'd left there had been very minimal knowledge about the packs dotting the lands, and now it was even worse. He couldn't join one without first learning of each of them so he was on a mission to visit at least a few of them until he found one he liked.

After exiting the desert (which he'd absolutely hated) he'd headed east as fast as possible not wanting to be in the heat any longer. He wasn't overly fond of the dry sand and the hot air so he hadn't stuck around too long. Summer was just beginning after all and it was only going to get worse as the season progressed. At least with the comfort of trees and other plants (he was thankful to finally see the color green again) he felt better. It wasn't cold but it was an improvement. This particular area was quite pleasing and little did he know that the area he had entered was called Fern Gulley. Ferns and other colorful plants dotted the area. Occasionally he'd slow to sniff a flower before heading on. His stomach rumbled but he knew better than to try and eat anything. He'd learned early on not everything was edible and he wasn't going to play the guessing game. Plants weren't his thing.

Finally he slowed deciding it was best to take a break. He'd been walking for a while and he was beginning to get irritated with all the things hitching a ride in his fur. It made him feel quite gross. So he came to a stop and planted his rump to the ground before starting with the twigs. He picked those out with his teeth and then went to work on the leaf bits and other debris. He wasn't going to be very clean, but clean enough that he didn't feel like he had an extra five pounds from everything in his fur.

Fern gully was just a hop and a jump away from Donostrea. It was the only rogue land that touched both their beach and their prairie so it always seemed like a good idea to keep an eye on who came and went from it. The Donostrea Titan often seated himself on the edge of all three territories and listened and observed to the comings and going of both his pack and the rogue lands. Things at home had been quite of late, peaceful and serene. He got to witness the growing of Voltage's little litter and watch Terrea and Lior as advanced in their lessons of healing. He hadn't seen a great deal of Locha, Gale or the Relicus's Trio but there was evidence that they where around.

The rogue lands had been just as quite, and he couldn't help but wonder if it was a calm before a storm. How long could their luck hold out? They wanted only to live a peaceful life and they seemed to have found exactly that. He had remained motionless for so long that when he twisted his neck to better catch a scent he groaned at the click of his bones. He shook himself out and rose, ready for any distraction to break the stillness of the day. His giant paws touched surprisingly gently on the earth and his passage through the ferns was silent.

He reached the source of the scent and eyed the boy, chuckling at his rugged appearance and attempts to pull the twigs from his thick coat. Glacier could understand the pains all too easily, his own coat was built for the chill of winter, and its dark blue tones seemed only to add to the appearance that ice was in his nature. “Need a hand?” the mountainous wolf joked.

Creed worked deftly to pull away any of the foreign objects away that didn't belong to his coat. The burs were the worst of it all as they threatened to make his gum bleed if the grabbed them the wrong way. They were relentless too for they stuck to his coat just as well as any tar or sap would. It was while he was struggling with this batch of annoyances that he heard a sound of something quite large moving through the growth. He eyed the area he expected the creature to come from and it wasn't long before a large wolf made its way to him.

He was a massive creature standing taller than any wolf he'd ever seen. He'd momentarily forgotten about his pelt and instead was left gaping at the titan that stood before him. Had he not been so awestruck at the size of the brute he probably would have noticed the snickering as the beast laughed softly at him.

The male seemed younger than him, but only that a couple years at best, and his size wasn't the only intriguing part of him. Upon further inspection (once he got past gaping at the wolf that was almost ten inches taller than him) he noticed the unnatural blue sheen to his pelt and the frosty blue markings that adorned his pelt. The strange color made his thoughts flicker to his father. Cifer had also had a strange color, though it was only minimal compared to this male, and he could distinctly remember the teal tears that had run from his father's eyes. It made him smile for a moment before his attention was riveted once more on Glacier. He couldn't help but grin sheepishly as he realized he had said something.

"Nah, Ah this Ah'm jest abou' to call it quits. Ah'll be travelin' again soon anyways so there'd be no poin'." He grinned softly, already liking this male. He seemed pretty laid back, despite his outward appearances. "Ye seem ta know th' pain of a thick coa' though." He said, making a gesture towards Glacier's own fur. "Ah'm Creed."

As always when encountering a stranger, he kept his movements to a minimum, giving them time to process him and his size. The reaction of this boy would be no different to some, and not as exaggerated as others. Glacier cleared his throat, and debated a comment about catching flies, and as he tilted his head, his lips twitched upwards in a mischievous smile the man would collect himself and speak. Hearing him caused Glacier to pause, him and his family hadn't been born in Alacritis and yet their accents hadn't been too dissimilar from the ones found here. The stranger however, he had an odd drawl built into his words. The Titan could get lost listening to the differences in his speech, accents had always captured his attention and a new one to add to his knowledge was definitely welcome.

He pulled his focus back to the words themselves, his easy grin still in play as he chuckled. “I live on a beach, so I have to add sand to my list of pains” he explained “Its a pleasure to meet you Creed, i'm Glacier Elementas. Also, i'm curious, your not from around here are you?” his grin broadened at how the question sounded like a line.

A chuckle would escape his lips as he winced at Glacier's words. Living on a beach sounded like an absolute nightmare and he didn't envy the large male. Even his short time in the desert had been enough to last him a life time. Not only had it been hot but picking the grains out of his fur and inevitably feeling like he was eating all the sand was an awful experience. He highly doubted he'd ever be going back there. Not if he could help it at least. Though at least living by the beach provided the ocean so that was a plus. The ocean was at least a lot more tolerable than the arid desert.

The topic changed and Creed felt like he should have known that the question would arise. In all his life he'd met many different wolves and most had a pretty common accent. Then there came times, like with Surreal, where they each had their own identifiable voices that made them stick out just a bit more than others. He supposed he was one of those though his hadn't been because of where he'd been born but rather where he'd moved to.

"Ah shoul' 'ave expected tha' question. I was born in the North here but mah family an' me moved elsewhere so the accent was picked up elsewhere."
