OOC: Preferably no Imp wolves or other species, please. Annnnd preferably private after one person responds.

A chilly winter wind caused the tangled treetops overhead to groan and whistle softly. Aside from the occasional jittery creature skittering through the trees this was the only sound in the forest. It was eerie and cold, and the silence did nothing to make it a better place. Something about the silence demanded he be quiet as well. Angelus wove around the tree trunks on quiet paws. Each misplaced step that resulted in a crushed leaf or a cracked twig made him cringe.

Once upon a time these woods had scared the brute. His dad had told him stories about it to keep him in line and one peek across the border had been enough to make him believe. Not anymore. Now he walked among the trees without an ounce of fear; now he was curious. It wasn't idle curiosity that brought him here. Angelus was on the prowl. His newly discovered power was making him restless. He wanted to do more; to try new things and push boundaries. That victory had opened his eyes to a world of possibility. He wanted more.

Do you feel like a young god?
Young god - rated M

The boy got away when he could - no matter how dangerous he knew it could be. Just to have time to clear his head and think. While he may have had a level head on his shoulders, if he let chaos rule his life well he knew what that would do. Heavy paws would carry the nearly yearling across the forest floor, stopping in his tracks when the scent of another hit his nose. Different colored orbs hitting the form of the giant. Ears pulling forward Rivaxorus could smell the danger on his pelt imperium. However - it wasn't danger to him it was something of a curious matter. The prince had only seen imperium once. Which was in a mass amount. Their size and numbers fascinated him and the reason his mother hated them baffled the boy. Rivaxorus was already large himself, he looked nearly like a yearling at his height but you could tell by his scent the lack of maturity.

Rivaxorus wasn't actually sure how to approach the other. Their packs were enemies right? But he was the heir, if he could do anything at all to talk among Imperium to learn about them it would be his dream. After all, it would hurt would it. Creeping closer - the boy would make sure to just keep his distance in case the other didn't want to interact. He wasn't going to push his presence. "Hey - you're from Imperium aren't you? Man you're even bigger in person." he would start with that. Rivaxorus smiled a bit, he would stay suspicious but his demeanor was almost political. He wanted to make a connection rather than a fight. Hopefully he didn't offend him by mentioning his size.

A voice off to the side nearly startled Angelus out of his skin. He'd grown used to the silence of the forest and the sudden break in it was unsettling. He turned to face the speaker...and couldn't believe his eyes. No way. That was one of those Sonticus brats he'd seen at the challenge. Angel's ears slicked back and his gaze darted around as he searched for other wolves. It appeared they were alone. Good. The last thing he needed was to get outnumbered and jumped on.

His eyes narrowed as he turned to face the boy. Why was he talking to him? He should have high tailed it the moment he laid eyes on an Imperium wolf, not brought attention to himself. This close to Imperium and all alone? This kid was either crazy or dumb. He was inviting trouble. "Are you stupid? Get lost!" He needed to leave. Now. Angelus wouldn't take no for an answer.

Rivaxorus let out a simple sigh - whatever. He just was so sorry that their parents didn't see eye to eye, or packs for that matter. Being the heir he could've spoken to valentine probably. After all, Rivaxorus looked up to imperium. He wasn't stupid he just thought the world around him was stupid. It was as simple as giving it a chance but they guarded themselves. It was understandable - but it still prickled his fur to have the other act like that. Rivaxorus shrugged his shoulders. "No I just took a chance, goodbye then. Nice meeting you." He wasn't close enough for his scent to rub off on him - so if he was worried about his family then that wouldn't be a problem. Besides he had only been there for a few moments. Riv dipped his head and turned around off to another direction. It was time to explore elsewhere so he could spread his wings. Maybe give his pack a better reputation within the future. If not, it wasn't as if he really cared enough about others opinions. He just wanted to grow.

He'd taken to emerging from the south lands once more, having retreated there as summer and fall came upon these lands. However, he somewhat missed the random encounters he had here on the mainland, and the southern continent only haunted him. Especially after the meeting with the rainbow female down in the Gulley. The Titan knew not what to do with himself, he was simply a wanderer looking for a purpose. Perhaps to protect, perhaps to become a savior.

The Titan ambled through the lands, not entirely paying attention to where he was going, but when he realized that the world around him had grown completely silenced, he would look up. A low 'hmm' would vibrate through the air, the light hardly reaching down to him and the world felt a bit colder here now especially with the dawn of winter. With the senses muted, he ambled along with eyes peeled and ears straining for sound. Anything could pop out of the fog and shadows, but he wasn't afraid of that.

Minutes ticked by, and eventually he would scent the path of a young wolf. Though it was leading out of the forest, Arvandor sought to go further in. Following the opposite way of the youth, he would come to find yet another scent. Curiosity gnawed at him, and the want to quench it was great. Striding forth, the male trailed the second scent until at last, through the shadows he would find his quarry. Another young male, older then the first. This one smelled different, perhaps the two were in a pack? "Your friend decide to explore on his own?" An innocent question, especially considering he knew nothing of the packs and the quarrels they had. He stood a yard or so to the young male's left, the usual vibrant hues on his pale coat muted thanks to the dim lighting of the forest.

"Listen to me talk," 'and know my thoughts.'

Angelus rolled his eyes as the boy groused a response and then did as he was told. Little idiot. Who in their right mind walked up to a member of a rival pack and tried to make polite conversation? Maybe his dad was right and the pack was full of morons. Still not 100% sure he wasn't being set up, Angelus watched the boy until he disappeared out of sight.

Once he was alone the brute shook off his annoyance and then went on his way. He didn't try to be quiet this time; the mood had been broken. Angelus would have been content to keep on wandering had not the approach of another given him pause. At first he assumed it was that dumb boy again and his irritation immediately began to rise, but the moment he turned to glare in the boy's direction his irritation died and his expression cleared. He blinked and then squinted briefly as he eyed the freakish coloring on the man's back. His height wasn't so unusual - Angel was used to giants - but it was odd to be able to look someone in the eye without angling his gaze downward. But his coloring? That as just plain weird.

Finally the stranger's question registered. He frowned slightly. Of course he had to be talking about that Sonticus boy. "That was not my friend."
