The female was at a loss. Her husband had gone off, responding to a Deathmatch. She knew the outcome of the match even without being there. The woman had been maimed previously by her mate. If she stood any chance at all it would be a miracle. Arietta couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. Arietta knew that there would be repercussions for this against her mate, even if he wasn’t the one who challenged. The woman’s mate, the silver man, would likely come after Sin. It was all only a matter of time. Arietta had been thinking. She’d been thinking long and hard since the attack on her family. Her one eye had been lost, clouded over now. But Arietta had not given up just yet. She had fought her hardest against the woman, and she was unafraid of what the future held. Sometimes what you had to do was simply live, regardless of what happened. Arietta just wanted things to be over, so she could finally pick up her babies and move on with her life. She missed them. Ganta, Obscoro, and Shiro. Plus the ones she had adopted from Ylva. Arietta would settle in the grasses and snow, curled up in a small ball. The place was eerie, but the perfect place to hide. But she could care less about hiding. They were merely biding their time after the attack. Arietta would brood, laying pressed against a tree as she thought quietly to herself. More than anything she wanted all of this to be over... But... With Sin... Things would never truly be over, would they? Speech. |
