He had just returned from Abaven, his thoughts heavy about what had happened today. He had gone to visit his family, only to find that all but one remained. She had been abandoned, left behind like she was nothing more then a dog left at the pound because the owners just didn't want to deal with it. It pissed him off really, that his brother would do something so fucking stupid! And now, he had to be the one to clean up his brothers mess. Not that he would mind going to take care of and raise Quake...but the mere thought of his brothers irresponsibility, on top of that fact that it wasn't just once, but twice that he up and disappeared from his pack...well, he had a lot of explaining to do if he ever found him. And now, Kakashi had to deal with Marina. He wondered if she would understand...she had kids of her own too didn't she? Surely she would understand the position he was in. He didn't want to seem eager to leave, but at the same time he didn't want to keep his niece waiting any longer then he had to. Marina could hardly believe how the numbers of Borealis had been dwindling. Sure she had yet to prove herself as an alphess, and yes she had given her word that if any were unsatisfied with the change she would allow them to leave with no consequence. Yet it felt as though this job of alphess was becoming more of a thankless task rather than something she had hoped to do to secure a place for her family. Marina was beyond disappointed. But regardless of how thankful her job was, she would keep pushing. She wanted to create something she could pass onto Ren... Something more than what this tiny pack had become. So when Kakashi was spotted semi rushing towards her Marina would heave a sigh.. It was almost as if she expected him to immediately drop the bomb of leaving; after the last two groups had done so it didn’t seem to be much of a stretch.
